    Is he not? I don't think so, even if he works for BP. Hes a BA graduate, of course he's tools-driven although he's more statistical than most of BA save when Boyd does a guest column.

    hitting in norfolk against AAA pitching is actually harder than hitting in the majors against major league pitching, statistically speaking.

    I don't see why not. They aren't exactly brimming with young talent coming up from the minors and there is plenty of deadwood on the 40 man already. I would do it if Prior agreed to it. and during the season hed be on the 60 day dl meaning they get an extra slot on the 40 man roster.

    unfortunately he has 89 pitches. if this were 1974 hed have a chance to get in the high teens.

    This probably could be in the Game Thread forum, but it's a very impressive feat and I love Peavy so much he always deserves his own thread. <3 Peavy 10 Ks through 4 innings. The record for consecutive Ks is 9.

    If that happens to be the case, then I don't expect Prior to ever be what he once was. Good luck trying to come back from a major shoulder operation like that. the best return, if im not mistaken, is rocky biddle. YAY!

    At this point I wouldn't be shocked if Prior had a completely torn labrum, they operated on it and he's out 18-24 months.
