Auburn at (4) Florida (8 pm) isn't a mismatch. The Gators only loss last season was to Auburn and Florida's secondary is vulnerable. Cox has struggled when he gets pressured and the Gator defensive line has been pretty inadequate this season in that respect.

So now that im over the beating he took, how can Tebow not be the Heisman favorite right now? Hes going to be on a top ten team (at least). He's going to finish with 3500 yards passing and 1000 yards rushing. (Right now hes on pace for 3800/1200) To put that into perspective, only two players have ever had 2,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards in NCAA history. Woodrow went 2,360/1,004 in 2001. Brad Smith did it in 2005 and 2002 2,304/1,301, 2,333/1,029, respectively. Tebow is on pace for a 35:4 TD:INT ratio with the INTs being because of incorrect route-running. Obviously he won't keep up that pace on the picks. Tebow is on pace for 25 running TDs too! Dantzler had 21 passing TDs and 10 rushing TDs. Smith went 15/7 and 13/16. Tebow already beat one of those rushing TD seasons.... He may not wind up with 3500/1200 but if he's healthy and comes even remotely close to those numbers, he's gotta be the favorite.

Tim Tebow is going to die against LSU if Urban plays him the way he has in the first two SEC games. Today they barely won but Urban ran Tebow 27 times. 27! WHO THE HELL RUNS THEIR QB 27 TIMES.....and lets him throw it 35 times? The offense was Tebow left, tebow right, screen to Harvin. Meh

Yeah, I expect them to open it up in the second half and pull away. they did a similar thing against tennessee and to a certain extent troy. the first two drives against Tenn they did nothing but crap. In the second half against troy they did the short passes. they probably will throw it deep to cooper and co in the second half.

Florida looks like they're holding stuff back. The offense has been dive tebow, bubble screen to harvin. i think something like 8 of tebows 10 completions are to harvin.

Barry Bonds....free agent. Cubs....in need of a big bat from the left side. Could Soriano play RF if asked? Could Lee play RF if asked? It's something that should be considered if there are funds. Bonds is what? 2nd in the league in VORP and first in EqA, iirc? -
I understand it's really not my place to be calling him out, but honestly, the whole "I'm so much smarter than you, trust me, I'll tell you" game is getting really annoying. Why can't you just post like an average person? Insecurity will do that to a person roast. You realize both of you have insulted him, while he hasn't insulted anyone. You can both put him on ignore if you don't like his posts, or you can complain to the mods about him. But these posts are unnecessary and against board guidelines. It's nice to see mods recognizing that I don't insult people. And to get on topic, complete games have been in gradual decline for 100 years and show no sign of slowing down anytime soon. It's probably for the better.

I rarely get 1 question answered, let alone 2! Burgess sure looks good (now), but I can't complain about Donaldson in the sandwich round. Burgess looked good then. This isn't case of wait and see.

no but ryan howards one great flukish season is bringing his average up at a disproportionate rate because of the lack of three or four years earlier in his career. If you have five numbers and add a sixth its going to change the average a lot less than if you have two numbers and add a third. there's little reason to believe that howards a better hitter. it's pretty much a toss-up in either way right now. ill take dunn because hes less likely to get in trouble with the law. call it racist but its true. -

Did you come up with this theory all by yourself? Of course this is happening as micro-managing is becoming widespread and the [female-anatomy]ication of baseball. Brilliant! Now that I said that, I think within twenty years teams are going to move to three mean rotations where their starters throw say 75 pitches max and then there are tons and tons of relievers. This can work because teams will carry 13 pitchers as position players are becoming more and more flexible as offense rises and defense becomes less valuable. There's some macro-baseball ideas for you
