  1. Not exactly brothers, but in 1967 Sandy Alomar was traded by the Mets to the White Sox. In 2003 the Mets traded Roberto Alomar to the White Sox. The only one I could find is 1937, when Wes and Rick Ferrell traded by the Red Sox to the Senators.
  2. When he was with Boston? the entire career.
  3. heh milton bradley is every bit the player andre dawson was, but let's not get into that
  4. but hes an average fan so he does not need to know that, tt
  5. little fontenutewonfirhgendoisijndkgjreiolfger, i like how you conveniently left out their obps. they are terrible comps. FLAT OUT TERRIBLE.
  6. thats your brand new manager of the kansas city royals, trey hillman
  7. I hate pie.
  8. this is my favorite quote regarding fukudome "And when he hits it, I'm telling you, the ball stays hit."
  9. I dont know why the Cubs don't offer him a 1 year deal with a team option that becomes a mutual option if he reaches certain incentives. It would be a win-win situation for both parties. The Cubs don't want to pay for a year of rehabilitation and then see him off, if that happens they can exercise the option and he won't have a chance to go anywhere. Prior does not want to agree to a small deal in case he becomes awesome at the end of the season, and if he is awesome then he can decline his option and be an FA because he has that right. The Cubs will be happy because that means he was pitching this season.
  10. Heh... I'm not all that enamored w/ Fuku either. I have the feeling he'll be a tad underwhelming...but then that means he'd fit right in w/ our Cubs Yeah we should be so saddened to have Raul Ibanez in our outfield. I mean, after all he has been a better hitter than $136m man, Alfonso Soriano, three of the last four seasons.
  11. how many times was the michigan game mentioned
  12. this eerily similar to the time we all thought furcal would sign with the cubs. we were already ready, and then out of nowhere seemingly he signed a ridiculous deal from LA. Prediction this happens again, Fukudome 3 years, 42 mil --> Boston Red Sox
  13. come on si let's go. i know he played in NY and all, but come on... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/0712/mlb.biggest.trades.00.decade/content.2.html 10. Beltran --> Astros 9. LoDuca --> Fish 8. Colon --> Expos 7. Mulder --> Cardinals, Hudson --> Braves 6. Nomar --> Cubs 5. Cabrera, Willis --> Tiggers 4. Schilling --> Sawx 3. Griffey --> Cincinnati 2. Beckett --> Sawx 1. ARod --> Texas I guess Minnesota is like not on their radar and all, you know they traded AJP for Nathan and Liriano.
  14. Hawaii is still considered a part of the US? weird.
  15. If it's not about the money, why is he considering coming here in the first place? It's always about the money. Testing himself against the best players in his sport? Then shouldn't he sign with an AL Team? heh, npb may be on par with the nl relative to the al next year and im not kidding.
