Tickets to Pittsburgh Series May 16-18

I've never had problems in the past just posting a message on here and getting tickets. Just figured I'd give it another shot. Before I book a hotel room and ask her to go, I want to have the tickets in hand. Don't wanna wait til the week before so I can actually plan the trip out a bit. :) -
Anyone selling tickets to the series? My girlfriend hasn't ever been to Wrigley, and I'm wanting to take her on a weekend trip without having to buy tickets from a broker. My preference would be the Saturday game. Thanks!

Yea, you new guys are trouble makers! Thanks for the help. How many guys that are in the league right now aren't part of the original league? I've never really thought about the number of new people we've had since the start. From my count it's me, Juan, Deven, DJ, Josh, Doug, Chuck, Al, Shane.... Is that everyone? I'm very impressed at how this league has stayed together throughout the years.

I've always been under the same impression as Adam, which is why I didn't sub Nady in for Frank Thomas at the mid point of last week. However, it didn't really matter, as Frank had the grand slam at the end of the week. I'm totally all for self policing though, as nobody's really ever tried to cheat, and if there was a question, it's always come up in this forum. That being said, I'll continue to stick to the setting my line-up on Monday and leaving it unless someone gets hurt (unless by chance you're dropping someone mid week)viewpoint.

The trade is definitely mind boggling. I'd have loved to have the opportunity to beat it. That being said, I hope Pujols and A. Rod are involved in season ending injury situations and Tim flops. :) Another way to look I guess is that A Rod is now out of our division.. :)

I don't think anybody on K-State knows what perimeter defense is. I don't know why this team is so scared to play pressure d. They looked great Thursday night, just no effort thus far today.

Good lord, I want to see Wisky cool off a bit. I'd love to watch the Cats next weekend in Detroit. Hell, I may even go watch KU if I get to watch the Cats the same day.

Ouch... Tough draw for the Cats. To look on the bright side, if they get to the sweet 16, I only have about a 20 mile drive to watch them.

You're in. You're still the 3rd place team in the Big XII. And you have the best player in the country. Maybe if you didn't have him, you might get dropped, but there's no way you're out now. I'm sure we're in, but after last year and the things I've seen happen to KSU in the past, I take the attitude in of never being surprised if we're not. Hell, last year we finished 4th in the Big 12 with the same record we have now and won a HUGE game in the tournament vs Texas Tech and STILL didn't get in. Pair that with the #3 football team in the country not going to a BCS bowl back when I was in school, and nothing surprises me anymore. Good lord that 1998 football season still upsets me :) i think you are still the only person in america who was shocked that k-state didn't make the tourney last year. It's possible, and maybe I'm biased, but 4th in the Big 12 should have gotten us in.

My predictions of what happens to KSU Either A: Won't surprise me if we don't get in with the way we finished. B: We are lucky to get in and get a #9 seed. WVU will get an 8, and we'll see Huggs vs KSU in the first round. Then in the 2nd game, we'll be lucky enough to see the same bracket as #1 seed North Carolina. We'll then see the Beasley/Hansborough match up in that game. :)

In my OF, I also have Upton and Rasmus who are in the same position for me as Kemp is for you. I figure between Hart, Hermida, Hamilton, Upton & Rasmus I should be able to fill three spots pretty darned well. As for the SP, don't sleep on Perez - I think Peterson is getting him much closer to his potential. I really like Matt's infield with Morneau, Cano, Jeter, Posada, and Blalock.... Whose infield in Raw's top 3 do you like it better than? Pujols > Morneau, Upton > Cano, Jeter > Escobar, Victor > Posda, Lowell = Blalock I also like Adam's infield at three of the five positions and Juan's at 4 of the 5. I'm not sure that I like it above any of those, I just wanted to mention that it's also a pretty good infield. I'm still looking at teams to see where the strongest teams are. It's harder this year than in years past it seems. It looks like talent is a little more spread out this year.

With all the young guys that are coming up and on people's rosters, this should be a fun read for all. While I'm doing my analysis and checking out other teams in the league, I would love to hear the thoughts of you all as to the strongest teams in the league in the following categories: Team Pitching (Including Relievers) Team Infield Team Outfield Team Minor Leagues Have fun with this assignment.. :) I'll post my thoughts too eventually after I can get them all jotted down.

Another thing I like and I think I'm starting to get much better at is my minor league guys. I only drafted 3 this year, but all 10 of mine are now in BA's top 100. I like seeing that. I think for sleepers, I need Orlando Hudson, Dye and Bay to all contribute. I really would like a big bat for the utility spot. Anyone interested in some minor leaguers and possibly Dye let me know and maybe we could make a deal.

Me, I love my pitching (AJB, Halliday, Sheets, Weaver, Garza, Bonzer) and my relief pitching too. Bat wise, I love Howard, Hanley, Granderson, Gordon and Markakis. I hope for come back years from Bay and Dye. I think I can compete with this team. A couple big trades to better my offense, starting pitching, or bench wouldn't hurt.
