You had JD pull off a nice start. It may come down to bats this week. We'll see... your staff isn't spectacular, that's for sure. You're talking about Weaver and his 5+ era, but that's not typical of him. Historically (last 2 seasons) he's been very good. I don't know what the ERA fix is, especially this early in the year. AJB is another one that isn't typically as bad as he's been. I'll give you Garza, but AJ and Weaver aren't putting up typical results thus far. well, they sure broke out of it this week. i guess i've never been a big believer in weaver for whatever reason. and people need to stop knocking le douche. he's always been good...he's just doing it as a starter now. show le douche the respect he deserves. enough piling on about my staff...i have four guys in the top 35, which is more than you or tim can say. i think i'm in for a rough one today with halladay going up against the twins... Lets Hope!

It sure would be nice to see AJ and Garza get me off to a good start for the week. This is by FAR the best team I've ever had on paper. Good god it'd be nice to see them start playing like it. I couldn't think of a more perfect week for that to happen than against Adam.

Picked up another guy that's off to a horrid start this year. If I could ever get Howard, Cano, and Hafner hitting at one time, I may win a game or two. Trade made sense though, as Matt had Iwamura at U, and can now put Nady there and get decent support at 2b with Hudson. I hope those 3 start to turn it on. On paper this team looks great, now it's time for them to produce.

I'm really glad that the 2 pitchers I've placed on the bench this week have 67 points between the 2 of them. My luck, I'll start one of them this weekend and they'll get negative points.

God though I do love Xavier Nady. Could be the best pick I had in the draft. It's hard deciding who to bench with the bats that I have, but I made the right decision in Dye for this week.

Christ... I had a nice lead evaporate after ridiculous pitching performances from the Bud Crew. Hudson is absurd. I hope Halliday and Sheets can win it for me this week. My bats have sucked!

Granderson now off the DL, so he's been subbed in for Dye, who is now hurt. My team sucks. All my optimism from weeks 1-2 has gone right out the door!

I was under the assumption that they went through the normal waiver process. I know Tim has gotten quite a few of them that way.

I think that trade does definitely benefit both teams. I encouraged Matt to do it when I saw the offers. I definitely think you over value Ankiel though Chuck.

Hey.. question. SInce I have my 2 relievers in and then AJB came in for an inning last night, those points should be wiped clean shouldn't they? If you can't gain points by adding more than 7 starts, you shouldn't be able to lose points (or gain them) if one of your starters has to come in in relief in the 14th inning.

Only down 30 thus far after being down 2 starts to 0. Not a bad start, I'll take it. I hope this Dana dude continues his good pitching today for Oakland. I have a 2 start advantage the rest of the week, so I'm hoping to come back and take the lead.

Good for him. I'm happy that he came and gave us one outstanding year and wish him nothing but success. That being said, I hope Bill Walker doesn't decide he's ready and actually sticks around for one more year. -
wow, lots of trash talk for a team that had to win two straight to stay out of the cellar last year. reminds me of missouri/kansas football fans. That was last year, my "rebuilding" year. Looking at career records, although not better than yours, would indicate that I could talk a little trash. :)

i don't think i've bragged too much about my team since the season started...haven't had much to brag about. maybe i bragged a tad about my THREE straight titles, but i feel that was justified. i wasn't getting the respect i felt was due, so i had to make sure everyone remembered the dynasty that was in progress. you, on the other hand, have been quite the boaster. i showed some of your posts to prince fielder and he threw a tray of carrot sticks across the room. PISSED. Hilarious! I'm not boasting, as I have nothing to boast about, but I am quite excited about my team. I think there's a difference! :)

I love the addition of Pronk... As soon as Granderson comes back, I'm REALLY gonna like my team! Hey Adam, are you as confident now as you were to start the year? :) sure. i'm 2-0, only 100 points or so off the pace, and teix, soriano, and martin are all hitting under .200. hawpe and uggla are under .225, and fielder has 0 homers. hill and liriano haven't done squat. plus rollins and wigginton are hurt. i'm not worried. Very true... I'm hoping I'm not getting the best weeks out of my team this early. I like your bats a LOT, but your pitching could be your demise. At least I hope that's the case.
