  1. I know we lost to CU for the 3rd time this year, but I have to ask, does the fastest 40 minutes in basketball mean Mizzou fans would like to see their games be over faster, like within 40 minutes? Or, does 40 minutes of hell mean that Mizzou fans are catching 40 minutes of hell each time this team plays? :)
  2. At least they were a "lock" before tonight....
  3. Pullen played great d on Higgins in the first half, and Burks went off. Played great defense on Burks in the second half and Higgins had his way with us. The rest of the team is to blame... they were awful outside of Kelly. Defense was atrocious.
  4. We're going to lose to CU again...
  5. well, the fact marcus morris wasn't a consensus first teamer is absurd on its own, so I'm not comfortable using that as a reason to eliminate him from contention. Seriously, my question is only how is he not consensus if he's player of the year. Makes no sense to me.
  6. GET OUT OF TOWN I'm sure you're shocked.... at least i put some reasoning in there.... gotta give me some credit. But your logic wasn't consistent. You said you had to be consensus all-conference to win player of the year, then you put 2 non-consensus players ahead of the guy from Colorado Re-read what I posted. I said Pullen was consensus, AND on the all defensive team. I said Marcus wasn't consensus, and wasn't on the defensive team. A little different that saying someone had to be consensus. Also, who are the 2 other players that weren't consensus? I count one in Hamilton. Pullen was the only other I put ahead of him.

  8. I'd go with Pullen as well, followed by Hamilton and then Morris. Pullen was on defensive first team and was a unanimous selection 1st team all Big 12. How can the player of the year in the conference not be a unanimous selection to first team all conference? He didn't make defensive first team either. Call me biased if you want. Mc Morris is a hell of a player, but player of the year, nah. ALL-BIG 12 FIRST TEAM Name Pos. Ht. Wt. Cl. 9. Something we can agree upon. Magruder is a good player and will improve, but I do not expect him to be quite what Denmon is next year before he is done.
  10. I've got it right about Denmon being better than Pullen, too. That's obvious to anyone who pays attention. Denmon is a good player, better than Pullen, probably not. Pullen is the best defending guard in the league (maybe = with Balbay) Pullen PPG APG 3P% RPG BPG SPG 19.6 3.6 .376 3 0.1 1.6 Denmon PPG APG 3P% RPG BPG SPG 16.8 1.6 .457 3.5 0.1 1.7 Denmon shoots the ball better from 3, both steal the ball at the same pace, Pullen scores more and dishes it out more than Denmon. Look at Pullen as a Jr. with Clemente as opposed to Denmon's Jr. stats: Pullen: PPG RPG APG SPG BPG 3P% 19.3 2.6 3.4 1.8 0.1 .396 How you can straight up call Denmon a better player is beyond me.
  11. If you can sit here and talk smack, then I can talk it back. You've been reasonable, never taking a personal shot. Butters on the other hand, that's all he and Snayke do. I just hate retards is all. Just as I hate [expletive] trash like you. I've never taken a personal shot at you. Your team is mediocre. You can't understand that. 8-8 is NOT good. Neither is only winning 2 games away from home. Neutral floors do not count. I think if you've paid any attention all I've been the first Mizzou fan to admit that this team isn't good. I've been saying it for months. I've said they've got first day elimination written all over them repeatedly. Quit being a moron. It's too bad you have to resort to name calling because you know KSU is a better team than Mizzou.
  12. As good of a time as any.
  13. If stars don't matter, why did you make that post last week demonstrating that KSU would be good based simply on height, weight, hometown and star rating? Especially when they were almost all 3 star guys? Because once upon a time Jacob Pullen was a 3* player. You got this one right...
  14. It's not an all or nothing proposition. Mitchell didn't need to be Michael Beasley to help, he had to be better than Steve Moore(readers might know him by his film persona, Lennie from Of Mice and Men) or Justin Safford. I understand what you're getting at, however, it's not 100% that he'd have won you the close games you lost. It's nice to think that way, but Mitchell is an all about me type of individual from what I know about him. That kind of play isn't necessarily something that would have helped in the overall scheme of your offense, let alone you have no idea what you get from those type of players on defense. I guess all I'm saying is having Mitchell doesn't guarantee you more wins.
  15. Could be... Too bad Pullen is 10x the player of any guard on the Mizzouri team. Jealousy perhaps? Wait, you're NOT Frank Martin are you? hahahahaha...

  17. 5 stars are guaranteed to help eh? Why didn't wally judge do anything for KSU? Selby sure as hell didn't help Kansas as much as you'd have thought he would. He was looked at as the 2nd coming of christ before this season, and he sure didn't make a 5* impact.

  20. "Waiting on transcripts" means "holding them hostage" when you're referring to KSU, they're just preparing their retaliation if they don't get the commit. It's not like you're mediocre 8-8 record would have been any better with him. Yeah this is probably the dumbest thing you've ever said (which is impressive, considering your resume up til this point) When you have only won 2 games on the road all year, it's pretty hard to convince me that another player would run that horrid motion offense any better than the guys that you've had running it. I love how high and mighty Mizzou fans are when they finish 6th in the Big 12 and have NEVER been to a final 4. Aren't they the team that has the most NCAA appearances in the country without a final 4 appearance? Missouri Tigers Tournament Appearances: 23 Final Fours: 0 Championships: 0 Win-Loss: 22-22 Kansas State Wildcats Tournament Appearances: 24 Final Fours: 4 Championships: 0 Win-Loss: 31-28
  21. Sent you a PM
  22. "Waiting on transcripts" means "holding them hostage" when you're referring to KSU, they're just preparing their retaliation if they don't get the commit. Really, what does this even mean? Don't be mad because you stole a recruit from us and then he wasn't allowed to play by the NCAA. It's not like you're mediocre 8-8 record would have been any better with him.
  23. yes, but barely I still think they are in, but not the lock they once were. They are starting to inch back toward being bubble team, at least IMO. 21-7, 2-7 away (W's away against 140 RPI ISU and 146 RPI Oregon). 16-0 at home with their best win being against us (in terms of RPI). Their 2nd best is against Vandy, who is 24th in RPI. They don't have any bad losses, but they don't have anything close to a marquee win. They are also fading at the end, which the committee looks at. I don't know how to value the neutral court win over Illinois, but it doesn't look as good to me now as it did earlier this year. A win vs KU would be HUGE. I'll probably actually be rooting for them to try and keep KU from another title..
  24. I think they do...
  25. this seems right this makes no sense to me. You don't get a say until you pay your bill..
