    Maddux's best value right now is mentoring Marshall, Marmol, and Hill. Then he should retire and take Rothschild place as pitching coach. Keeping him just means that he's taking another person's place (Guzman) in the rotation. This year means nothing and Maddux should not be re-signed in the offseason. We need to know what we have in Marmol, Marshall, Hill, and Guzman. It's pointless to keep Maddux at this point. But, dude, how can Dusty maintian the integrity of playoff races w/o Maddux??

    Nothing will change w/ Dusty. The kids will continue to sit on the bench, b/c Dusty needs to maintian the integrity of the playoff races.
