    Boras and the Cubs seem to work well together. With the Yankees and Red Sox probably looking for him, you can forget about affording him w/ Boras as his agent, no matter how good the relation is.

    Well look at it from the Twins point. By drafting Mauer, they were able to move AJ which landed them Nathan, Liriano, and Boonser. If they drafted Prior, it'd be Santana-Prior-AJ, but by drafting Mauer, they were able to get 3 very good players. So they basically got 4 players w/ that one pick.

    I thought Dye played for Oakland after being traded in 2001?? I thought he and Caveman Damon were traded to the A's together??

    Well the Cubs website says he has 297 AB's, and 28 walks, so that is 325 PA we know about. IDK about sac bunts, sac flys, or HBP.

    A game w/ no offical AB's unless one of the PA's was a Sac Fly So he could get a sac fly and 4 walks and have his streak ended? I think so.

    Speaking of that Farnsworth fight, anybody remember this? Ha. Yeah, I remember that one. Good stuff. That was real good. If only we had him for when Barrett punhced AJ. We could also use him on the Bears defense. Him and Urlacher on the same defense...AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!

    They can't. Javy was put on waivers when the division was tied. In that case they go back to 2005, but that was also a tie, so they go back to 2004, when the Yankees had the better record. When they were tied for GB, the Yankees had a better record by percentage points, so they were technically in 1st, and the Red Sox were in 2nd.

    Why would we want to be jerks to the Red Sox? I can think of alot of teams I wouldn't mind screwing, but Boston isn't one of them. Especially not if we're risking ending up with Javy freakin Lopez. He was offered to Boston before the Cubs. It's reverse order of the standings in the league he's waived. And why would we want to screw the Red Sox. The Cardinals and White Sox are the teams we should screw.

    The offical rulebook says you need 3.1 PA per scheduled game. Over a season that is 502.2 PA, so Barrett needs 503 PA to qualify

    i have the segment in an .mp4 format (viewable in quicktime, itunes and your video ipod). i can send it to your email address if you want. if you have gmail, that would be better since it can handle large attachments (i believe the file is 25-35 MB). let me know...i'll be more than happy to send it to anyone who wants it. EDIT: what i'll do is this...when i get home tonight, i'll upload it to my girlfriend's website and post the link here for anyone who wants it. i'll keep it there for a week so it gives everyone who wants it enough time to download it. sound good? p.s. one of these days, i'll get around to converting maddux's 300th win, the 2003 nl central clincher, game 163 from '98 and the '84 nl east clincher to .mp4 for everyone. p.p.s. did anyone ever find out where one could purchase the sandberg game? gmail only allows 10 MB attachments. What you could do is zip it, and if the zip file is under250 MB, upload it thru megaupload.com, and then give people the link.

    If you're going to bring Kid Rx back in any form, DON'T COUNT ON HIM BEING HEALTHY!!! If he is, great we're overloaded. If not, fine, we're prepared. Same goes for his glass doll twin, Prior.

    Well if I'm Aramis or his agent, I say look, Adrain Beltre is being paid 13M to do this. I have done this. I should get at least 15M.

    B/c Hill is a young player, he will be back down at AAA next time he gets pounded. If this was Fat Glendon, Dusty would probably say he "earned" 5 starts. It's Dusty's double standard.
