    I wonder how safe Baker's job will be if the Cubs lose another 8-10 games in a row? Dude, it's injuries and lack of timely hitting by our offense. We're just not getting the breaks and bounces. Dude. Yeah, plus the Cubs brass thinks Dusty is a messiah, based on 2003.

    If AJ did this, he'd get 20, and MLB would call for his head. There was a SI poll, and 470 MLB players were asked who they'd want to see beaned the most. AJ was # 1.

    Does anybody over in the White Sox ever think about what they say, before the say it? Kenny Williams just proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is an idiot. Sure, Kenny...MLB could have suspended MB the day after the INCIDENT, but MB would have still appeal the decision, which means...Barrett would have still play the game, your friggin, mental midget. Apparently, Williams believes in the "he's guilty because he is a Cub, so he shouldn't get an appeal" theory. Anybody else think....that the White Sox won the WS DESPITE Kenny Williams? He's just pissed b/c it's going to hurt his team. Barrett beats them, and then when he is suspended, they play the Tigers who beat the Cubs. I thought he'd be happy. Sox fans root for AL teams over the Cubs.

    Yeah. And the White Sox winning it all last year and the Cardinals and White Sox doing well this year makes it harder to take

    Fair!!?? It's bull. Rodgers got 20 for attacking 2 cameramen and it was reduced to 13 on appeal. 13 for a SP is like 2-3 starts. 10 for a catcher is like 7-8-9 games!!!

    Anyone heard anything about this? I read a rumor on another board that Barrett got 10? Any word on whether this is true or not?

    Not to mention, Lee has something to prove to the South Side and could do it w/ the Cubs and Jenkins could be mistaken for Brett Favre.

    I thought the only reason Lee has played LF w/ the White Sox and Brewers is b/c Ordonez and Jenkins are better fielders than him, but he could do RF?

    Man, Carlos Lee would be a brutal RF. I would rather Murton play RF than Lee. You could field a pretty strong OF with Lee, Pie, Jones/Murton platoon. What we really need is a genuine, everyday, middle of the order hitter in RF so we can platoon Jones and Murton in LF. And that would be el horso.

    But if World Series 3.0 is coming in a few years as well does it really matter? Maybe. It just shows the people in Miami have no interest in the team regardless of whether or not they win.

    We should seriously take a look at the guy. He's keeps himself in great shape and I was reading his book Juiced and he says he still wants to play so he can get his 500 HR's. What do you guys think? Last I heard, he's jacking long balls for some no-name league in California.

    Well, one difference is that Cuban has expressed interest in owning a baseball team. I'm sure if Buss or Kraft expressed interest then a lot of Cub fans would clamor for them. More specifically, Cuban has expressed interest in owning the Cubs. He's said it's been his life-long dream

    Agreed. He was smeared in the press by the Tribune Co. The only way Sammy ever steps foot in Wrigley again is as an opponent. He's done forever unless he wants the all-time strikeout record.

    Man, Carlos Lee would be a brutal RF. He's said he wants to play for the Cubs so he can stick it to the White Sox. He still has a grudge w/ Ozzie, and I bet his form of sticking it to them will be what he did to Todd Walker last year
