    I don't think this team is as bad as 1999, 2000, or 2002. I just think it's harder to take the losing after coming so close in 2003, just missing the playoffs in 2004, the White Sox winning it all last year, and the Cardinals and White Sox continuing to win. ](*,) ](*,)

    Dusty needs to be fired end of story. BTW - Woody Paige is another guy who should be punched. He's such an annoying prick. I completely agree that Dusty needs to go, but it isn't in me to root against the team. If it gets Dusty fired, I'm all for it.

    I just noticed this. If the Cubs are out of it when they play the AL Central in Interleague, will you be rooting for them to lose so White Sox rivals keep winning? I prolly will.

    I got an email from the guy: well, unfortunately, i feel defeated. only because i didn't get the turnout i was hoping for. maybe 15 people. we were all on the score for 2 weeks, many blogs, but not a big turnout for support. we were interviewed by cbs and fox news so that was cool. the only thing i can hope we accomplished with this, is for it to be noticed by others and maybe start to grow somehow. oh well, i gave it shot. i feel exhausted, but trust me, we were heard! so much so, that the cubs had their merry old band come out near us and play music to try to drown us out. it didn't work though, we had a LOUD megaphone. gotta run, i'm out. thanks for the support. i'll send pics to you guys over at 1060. Bill

    I don't think so. It was just a procedural move to allow the Cubs to bring up Womack without derostering somebody else. It won't delay Prior's return (since he's already missed the 60 days).^^^^^^^^^^^^^ And Serana, Prior does get MLB service time. Time on the active roster, 15-day DL, 60-day DL, or barevement leave is MLB service time. Same w/ suspensions, so Barrett will get MLB service time while serving his suspension.

    Yeah, but he was never backewd this much by MacPhail. I don't see how Dusty has anymore backing than Baylor did with MacPhail. Knowing how MacPhail operates, I doubt he'd stand in Hendry's way if JH decides to fire him. MacPhail said it's up to Jim whether to keep or fire Dusty
