    And Lee scooping up all his bad throws saving him from another bajillion errors. ^^^^ I'm actually surprised our IF hasn't gone errors galore w/ Lee out.

    Situtations like the brawl are where I would like the Farns. Someone who can choke-slam you, and then be used as a goon the next time. The Farns would also be a good fit w/ Urlacher on the Bears defense.

    Bonds is not a nice person. He tried to charge the mound against Prior in 2003 and in July said Z would learn to "respect" him. He's also a racist who doesn't like white people and that is the only reason he wanted to pass Ruth. I bet you if Ruth was at 755 and Aaron was at 714, Bonds would say he wants to play past 2006.

    I still think he should start when the Cubs play against AL Central teams, just to piss of Ken Williams.

    Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn!! Same old story: Sore, towel drill, towel drill, long toss, sore again, more towel drills and long toss, simulated games, sore again, more simulated games, rehab, up at MLB, on DL 2 months later.

    Sometimes they will hold the appeal when the team is in NY. Sometimes they will bring the player to NY on an off day. Sometimes Watson will go to the player. I think the suspension starts immediately upon the decision of the appeal being made. It's no longer in NY. It can be done anytime. And if the player wins, he can choose when to serve. If it is upheld, he must serve right away.

    Part of Corey's problem was that he had this mentality he's a 30-40 HR hitter, so he went up swinging for the fences every time. Plus Dusty's qoute in my sig is why he was a wild swinger. Actually he still is, but he's toned it down some.

    All in all, that was infuriating to read. Rusch should get the next start. Who would you rather have make that start? I'd rather take a chance on a kid from AAA than some unproductive veteren ala Fat Glendon.

    The reason I brought it up is b/c KW got all pissy over it. I just thought it would be really funny if what KW got all pissy about actually happened, what he would do. That the AL Central teams play the Cubs undermanned, yet the Sox face us at full strength.

    It's Cardinals luck. Aside from the tarp clobbering Vince Coleman, one of the laws of Cubs misery is an injury to a key Cubs player is disaster, an injury to a key Cardinals player is gold.

    After reading Ken Williams get all pissy over Barrett's suspension, I looked at the Cubs schedule. We have a 9-game strecth from June 16-25 when we play AL Central teams. If an appeal isn't heard by then, Barrett should just drop his appeal and serve it then. We'd be undermanned vs. AL Central teams, and we'd have him for the Cubs-Sox series, just the way Sox fans like it. :P :D
