  1. If he doesn't fall down, that's an interception. Instead, he stumbles and runs into the receiver.
  2. Maynard with a beauty!
  3. A couple of days ago, I think. The Trib had a piece about him. I think all that FOX said was that he was a former Bear and was traded for Ditka.
  4. HUGE TURNOVER!!! Great penetration and Briggs eventually pounces on it!
  5. it is the Packers weakness though, they have a much tougher time stopping the outside run then when it is run right at them. I think it was an alright play call, just the result wasn't good for the Bears. But despite the 2nd down play, Peterson was having plenty of success running it straight up the gut.
  6. Gould with another poor kickoff, though, and the coverage broke down a bit.
  7. I hate that third down call. Peterson's strength is not east-west.
  8. What a catch by Berrian!!!
  9. A little further, Kyle. Not sure about the no-call. At least he went for it on the free play.
  10. What!? For the rest of the game, according to 780. At least he didn't fumble that one.
  11. What a hit! On the bad news, Bobby Wade will be returning the punts.
  12. Sigh. Time for a new punt returner.
  13. Favre thew up a perfect pass to Charles Tillman who returned it 95 yards, and then Robbie Gould hit a field goal right away because there was 6 secs. left. Wow, how come Tillman couldn't go all the way? He did make a few moves. It looked like he was going to be escorted out of bounds around the GB 40. I agree with the decision to just kick the FG. That was huge.
  14. Just to call a timeout and give Gould some more time to warmup, I think. Sure looked weird, though. 9-7 at the half.
  15. I LOVE YOU TILLMAN!!!
  16. Hillenmeyer is wearing a cast on his thumb. He should be ready to go.
  17. Ugh. Hillenmeyer is having x-rays taken on his thumb. His return is questionable.
  18. Bears aren't going to win if the defense keeps on playing like this. The pressure isn't there.
  19. Sigh. Jones can't handle the flip and the defense is giving up yards on the ground.
  20. A slipped receiver on first and Mushin getting out-muscled on third. That hurts. Chris Harris is out for the game with a sprained knee. And MJ is in Urlacher's suite.
  21. Great job by Green to put that late pressure on Favre and scare him into throwing it.
  22. Oh man. Urlacher could've had that.
  23. And Rashied Davis can't hang on. Oh boy.
  24. You suck, Clark.
  25. The young offensive line started to struggle a bit. The receivers dropped way too many passes against Michigan, Basanez had probably his worst game of the year against Iowa, and Ohio State...well, they're Ohio State. Dunbar has had two philosophies this season. For the first half, it was run first to set up the pass. For the second half of the season, it was pass first to maybe set up the run. As long as Tyrell Sutton hangs onto the ball, he has to be the primary weapon in the first quarter. They can't afford third and longs early on. Nor can they afford to punt the ball much considering UCLA's tendency to turn it on in the second half and Northwestern's tendency to blow leads.
