    This is from Hendry: Without knowing anything about whether it could actually cause more damage or not, the logic seems about right (this time). If the surgery goes as planned, the real setback will be him losing arm strength. In theory, building it up before the surgery will mean that he has less ground to cover when he's able to get back on the mound. In theory.

    Ron, does the move have anything to do with the caller you talked to at the end of your time on Cheap Seats a few weeks ago who suggested that not being on FM radio was a reason why the Jaxx were losing fans? At the time, it sounded like you were pretty intrigued by the suggestion.

    I don't like that it's his right knee, but if it looks like it just pushes him back to about where Wade Miller is. If all goes well, it sounds like he'll probably just miss about three starts.

    Nope. They just wanted him to pitch today so he could stay on his schedule but had to do it in a simulated game since Z was starting against Oakland.

    I didn't think Snow was that close to getting set on that play, but with Duhon, the foul was called. They just decided to take away the shot despite the fact that he was in the process of shooting the ball. It's amazing that they're still in this game. If he wasn't set then it is a defensive foul. There was no whistle. Although it was clearly a bad call against the bulls at the end. Note: any team is still in the game in the 4th quarter against the cavs (ever since hughes went out) I think the ref let it go because Duhon was backing off slightly as he was passing the ball, although I don't remember exactly. And they tie it up just in time for me to switch over to the Office. Bah.

    KOMO covers just about all of the Mariners games, including tomorrow's, so it'll be on gameday audio. The only Cubs game they aren't covering is on the 23rd.

    I hate basketball so much. One chance to storm the court. That's all I've asked for. But noooo. They have to play like crap for 40 minutes and then let it catch up to them at the very end. 3,243 unforced turnovers (by my count), the usual missed free throws, and who knows what else. Then add the refs and bam. I'm pissed.

    I have to miss Z b/c of a 2-3:20 class. :( Not gonna happen next quarter, though.
