Carlos isn't a rookie and this isn't anything new. It's also not getting any worse. I don't see why he'd burn out if he keeps this up. It's just how he pitches. He can use to control it a bit more at times, but it's not really doing him much harm. And he's still one of the best pitchers in the league.

The strikeout? I thought I saw 96. He hit 97 in that inning, I believe, but I don't think I saw anything higher than that. The pitch right before strike three is the one I'm talking about. It was 96 for the K pitch. Well, it certainly has a lot of life on it. Once he gets the control to be able to throw that on the inside corner without leaving it over the middle of the plate, it's going to be fun.
