But it's not a figurehead position. He's the team president. Why on earth would they give him that much responsibility with such a poor front office background? -
I wonder if there is a feature for expandable sub-forums. I do think having a few forums for NFL, a few for college sports, a few for the NBA, and one for other sports would probably be too much for the main page, but that would probably work the best.

The intergrating of separate boards is different from just making Bears and Bulls sub-forums on NSBB. Are people in favor of cross-linking everything or just moving them all to the main board? Personally, I think just moving everything to the main board would be the easiest for both the posters and Tim. I'd prefer just having one board, myself. The original suggestion in this thread would certainly work for me.

Quentin Williams is in and Fitz just wrapped up a very nice class. He picked NU over some other nice programs that wanted him as a LB. It came down to us and Stanford since both schools would let him play TE.

Getting Bayless is a great way to finish off the class. It was rumored that he had decided on Northwestern over Ohio State, Florida, Cal, and UCLA for a little over a week now, but I was getting nervous. He has some great skills as a DB, but I'd have to imagine he'll play WR for us. The only letter Fitz hasn't received yet is from Quentin Williams, who verballed to NU last week after narrowing his choices down to us and Stanford. He will be another big get for us.

If Fitz can close NU's recruiting class by landing Martin Bayless, I'll be pretty happy. It's already a solid class. It started with 4 offensive line commits and while they lost momentum in December, the coaching changes really helped. We won't have a QB in the class, but the offensive line recruits will certainly pay off in a couple of years. Plus, it's nice to see some more success in the Chicago area. And even better, we finished the class with a couple of victories over Stanford, who had been killing us in the fall.

Congratulations to those who made it through the game without coming down with a nasty case of the bleeding ears. I watched the last :28 seconds and the combination of NY, NE, the '72 Dolphins, and stupid, stupid comments by the Fox crew made me cringe the whole time.
