    Try the outfield for the 2 or 3 starts he gets while he's up. Get ready for a lot of Theriot at short, DeRosa in left, and a rotation of Cedeno and Fontenot at 2nd. I don't know why they've thought for almost a year that Patterson is a viable corner outfield option, but they do.

    Those who actually thought Murton was going to get called up AND play should be ashamed. Those who just thought he'd get called up and sit on the bench should be less ashamed.

    Soriano's skills haven't diminished. Well then he has no baseball acumen. How about a diminished stats clause? 130 million just doesn't buy much anymore. Someone tell Soriano that just because the dollar buys a whole lot less doesn't mean that his play has to diminish in kind. It hasn't diminished, though. He's coming off one of the best years of his career. Hendry got exactly the player that he paid for. It's not Soriano's fault that Hendry was out of his mind. I'm glad they didn't call up Murton. He wasn't going to play, anyways. And we all know that middle infielders make the best outfielders.

    I'm still recovering from the last Trinidad and Tobagan invasion. I'll probably get tickets just in case, anyways.

    I'd rather have a hitter get extra ABs below AA ball, though. I don't think young pitchers need to worry about hitting. I can see a case for it in high A ball, but having the pitchers hit would not do much good below that.

    That's pretty cool. I also like how some have a personalized note. In looking over a few of them, Wisconsin doesn't seem to have much direct contact to offer. They ask him to contact his recruiting coach, rather than even giving out Bielema's number. I'd imagine that the kid already has the phone numbers to most, if not all, of the head coaches already. But the personal notes are a nice touch.

    The wind will be just as strong as last night. Although diminishing as the day goes on, look for the wind to be blowing out to left at 20+ mph while shiftina bit towards left center.

    I don't think they ever phased out bleacher season tickets. They can be renewed, but they don't offer any new season tickets.

    Harris had a back injury that bothered him most of last season in addition to his knee and hamstring injuries. He also had a minor groin injury at one point. In regards to his knee:

    I don't think it has been mentioned yet, but the BTN will be doing a lot of coverage for the spring games. Every game (except Michigan's, which has already happened) will be streamed online live and archived for free. In addition, Northwestern's and Minnesota's games will have additional BTN crew on-hand for extra coverage. The other games will coincide with a 3.5 hour coverage show on the BTN Saturday for live look-ins and analysis.
