  1. It's our very own ELCABALLO whos said it: http://brewersfandemonium.yuku.com/topic/12322/t/We-re-thinking-about-the-World-Series-Ronny-Cedeno.html
  2. Wow ... think they'll make a deal soon?
  3. Why are the Rockies trying to rip the Cubs off?
  4. That's cause Manny already has 2 WS rings, and Jeter 4. Are you saying the only players that can think about being in the WS are players who have already been in the World Series? I should qualify my comment that since Manny and Jeter plays for teams that have had WS success, of course the media won't care if they say that they want to continue that success. Cedeno plays for the team that infamously has the longest championship drought in professional sports. The always opportunistic media will of course milk his quote for all it's worth.
  5. Yeah, but Pujols is having a better season so far. Lee .353AVE/.411OBP/.671SLUG 7HR/17RBI/62B/30H Albert .352AVE/.495OBP/.606SLUG 4HR/16RBI/62B/25H 174 OPS+ vs. 189 OPS+
  6. Yeah, but Pujols is having a better season so far.

  8. Somehow I don't think WGN will like that ...
  9. My view in hindsight of that team was that they had players either just before their prime or during their decline. The only player I could think of that could be considered in his prime was Michael Barrett.
  10. I watched it, and I agree with everything DeRosa said.
  11. I'm guessing the only reason he made it was because the pitcher was so surprised he took off.
  12. He's got a ways to catch Cedeno's .957. doesn't matter... you don't bench a guy OPS'ing .893. DeRosa - .929 Cedeno - .958 Theriot - .893 You're gonna have to bench a productive player no matter how you look at it.
  13. Cedeno was thinking about the World Series as he was rounding the bases after his grand slam today.
  14. Umm... Are we talking about the same Hairston? I believe we are.
  15. He also ended the day 4-5 with 3 RBI's and a SB.
  16. His crazy eyes still haunt me.
  17. It will continue until MLB umpires are held accountable for their calls on the field. Not the worst call ever, though. That would probably be the call at 1st base in the 1985 World Series with Dane Iorg. I'm pretty sure that was Don Denkinger.
  18. OBP up to .371, three points behind the Red Sox who are playing right now.
  19. Actually, the Mets faithful are praying and hoping that Alou gets back soon.
  20. I guess 6 IP, 5 ER is considered putting it together for Lilly.
  21. What do Matt Morris and Paris Hilton have in common? Men love to go deep on them.
  22. If the wind blows out, I predict the Cubs win 23-22.
  23. Eric Byrnes hits a 2-run homer to give the D-backs the lead 3-2. They hold on to win 4-2. That team is good, but they've played the Giants as much as we've played the Pirates.
