  1. Why can't they do even half this more often? Go figure, it's the Cubs I guess...
  2. I'll go under, but that doesn't mean the Angels won't still score.
  3. So......not good enough to be good, and not bad enough to be bad. The Cubs are stuck in the baseball purgatory known as mediocrity. IMO there is no worse in sports then being mediocre. When you're good, you're good, and when you are bad, you're bad, but when you're stuck in mediocrity there is a certain delusion within said team that believes they are one or two players away from being good. I much rather be crap then mediocrity. Now, don't go getting all crazy. There's PLENTY of time left for them to be bad. I hope so because the Cubs have a history of disappointing the fans one way or another. True, true, but this might be the one expectation they are up for....

  5. I'd say it couldn't get any worse than yesterday, but I'm not convinced that's true.
  6. Some things never change.
  7. Too little, too late, even on the outside chance it actually would happen. This team is terrible and everytime I think I've seen the worst game of the year, they go and top it. Exampe, today (Saturday 6-19 vs. Angels).
  8. CH 213 if you have DirecTV. Congrats to Folty, he definitely deserves this. Seems so bizarre. Been watching him since he was 11.
  9. Hey... where is this at live? My son just texted me that his friend went 19th to Houston
  10. It's about 1/3 of the way through the season now. Enough is enough!
  11. Oh, wow. He's just too good. Crazy good.
  12. Feeling good about this one..... BIG WIN??????
  13. It's probably a combination of pretty much everything mentioned in this post, and at this point it really is painful to watch. I feel for the guy, but if there's something going on that he could use some help with, whether it be time off to heal in injury or time off for mental/stress issues, then he needs to take that time and let the team get on with things.
  14. The prospect of a "fire sale" on this team might be just enough to keep me interested this season!
  15. Oh, now four pages. This team is terrible. Worse then I would have ever thought they'd be.
  16. The rain is moving in faster than they thought. Hope Silva can move this one along some (assuming we have the lead, otherwise slow it down some)
  17. Or it could show you that Lou couldn't give a rat's behind.
  18. LOL, I can't get over a 1-5 road trip to Pitt and Cinci.
  19. It would be nice to use one of them in appropriate situations when your starter is clearly gassed and the other team's best hitter is coming up. Yeah, I kept waiting for Bob to say, "I told you so."
  20. Well, I at least have to give him credit for finally realizing he has an issue and taking steps to correct it. That dude is one slow learner.
