Better now than later in the season. Yeah, but we don't really know the true extent of these injuries. Still better now than later. If they end up needing surgery wouldn't rather they have it ASAP instead of late in the season and then the recovery cuts into (or further into) whenever they can come back? Of course, the sooner the better treatment begins if it is something more serious. The Pirates will probably have run off with the division by the end of April anyway, LOL.
