So......not good enough to be good, and not bad enough to be bad. The Cubs are stuck in the baseball purgatory known as mediocrity. IMO there is no worse in sports then being mediocre. When you're good, you're good, and when you are bad, you're bad, but when you're stuck in mediocrity there is a certain delusion within said team that believes they are one or two players away from being good. I much rather be crap then mediocrity. Now, don't go getting all crazy. There's PLENTY of time left for them to be bad. I hope so because the Cubs have a history of disappointing the fans one way or another. True, true, but this might be the one expectation they are up for....
