    I had to laugh when they did that Hill interview on the radio with Hughes I think it was, they did a disclaimer that "warning, this story could be graphic." Uh, yeah, cutting off four of your fingers has that tendency.

    I always wonder how this plays out in the clubhouse... do the coaches just decide this and then go to the players and tell them what the plan is? Do you think the players ever object? I mean, not that it matters, but there's always that stereotype that the "gamer" always wants the ball.

    I can't believe they can all go so ice cold like this all at once for days, and even with the last two wins, it wasn't like they were hitting the ball around the park all day. I kinda thought we wanted to win these games at home with being on the road so much here soon.

    In a week when Howry and Marquis actually looked decent, and Zambrano and Harden weren't in top form, it seems that Cub fans are being thrown for a loop!

    Dusty Lite, so true! Maybe that will work to the Cubs' advantage then when Sheets or Sabbathia come up with a sore arm.

    Sorry. While I want them in the playoffs either way, this season needs to end with a Divisional winner. If it's anything less, I'll assume we lost some momentum and aren't going to be in great shape going into the playoffs, so I want to see the Cubs as division champs, on a number of levels.

    I was just starting to get a little weak in the knees. A little reassurance never hurt anyone. It's not so much the Cubs I'm worried about, it's more that the Brewers aren't faltering!
