    Seriously, why are Sox fans so bitter? Why do they hate the Cubs? This isnt a frienly rivalry. Its an actual seething cauldron of hate from them. Ive been trying to figure it out, but for the life of me I cannot. What have the Cubs or thier fans ever done to them? Nothing that I can think of.

    The only thing Ive ever thrown and broke due to the Cubs play is a remote about 6 years ago. Cubs were losing like 10-0 to Milwaukee at home, 7th inning or so. I smashed the remote... ...then the Cubs came back and won the game.

    Haven't realy followed much today, but has an official announcement been made?

    The only thing that remains to be said is that The Cubs apparently have him, so we'll have to see what Soriano shows up. We have no choice in the matter.

    When do the Vegas oddsmakers usually come out with thier odds? I'd be curious to see what they rate the Cubs after this signing.

    ESPN Radio has reported it, as have Fox Sports, Yahoo! Sports and ESPNEWS. I've followed the thread, but Nothing in those reports (admittedly I haven't read all of them) mention tat its official.

The second 1000 kids get brass knuckles. THen the first 1000 kids become unlucky. - San Diego Chicken night. First 10000 people get a crossbow to take potshots at the Chicken - Dow Corning Fiberglass Insulation night. Then I would creat a new marketing slogan: The Chicago Cubs. It Can't Get Any Worse... Can It?
