  1. We gotta got some runs off Suppan..Brewers have a good lineup, I didnt know how much their rotation sucks outside of Gallardo and he hasnt been that good either lately
  2. Good win but It's going to be a really long year if we have to deal with these nobodys in the bullpen blowing games late
  3. He doubled and scored the only run of the game literally a half hour ago. And hes 3 for his last 6...HE HAS NO CLUE WHAT HES DOING! Ok lets think outside the frame of the 3 out of last 6 and just overall..
  4. Why the hell cant we just eat Sorianos contract and have a Nady/Colvin platoon out there..Soriano doesnt know what the hell hes doing at the plate or field
  5. From Roto...I bet big Jim picks him up again hoping hell rejuvanate the offense Reds released 2B Aaron Miles. No surprise, Miles was able to pass through waivers. The 33-year-old infielder batted just .185/.224/.242 in 157 at-bats with the Cubs last season. The Reds acquired him from the Athletics as part of the Willy Taveras trade in February, however he was never expected to play a prominent role with the team. He can now sign with any organization at the major league minimum with the Reds paying the remaining $2.3 million on his contract.
  6. So is Lou going to not know whats going on like usual and put in Grabow?
  7. Besides Marmol and Marshall, this bullpen is freakin trash
  8. These are times where Marmol was useful, cleaning everyones mess
  9. Great. We have this years Bob Howry in.
  10. Wow That wouldve tied it if Lee didnt snag that. I hate you Grabow
  11. Silva and Gorzelanny filling out our rotation..I just threw up in my mouth a little
  12. If Silva makes the rotation, Ricketts better be at his office door with a sledgehammer.
  13. Hahhaha good Job , Hendry. You got yourself a great pitcher. I know its only ST, but this is a preview of what going to happen in the regular season
  14. Kevin Gregg has a one-year, $2.75 million deal with the Blue Jays, reports Jon Heyman of SI.com. Gregg immediately becomes the favorite for saves over Jason Frasor and Scott Downs, though it's not clear if he has already been guaranteed the ninth-inning gig. The 31-year-old compiled a 4.72 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 23 saves in 30 opportunities with the Cubs last season before losing the closer's gig to Carlos Marmol. Oh man, I can't wait to see him try to save games in that division and get shelled everytime.I still won't forget Brenly on the air after he blew a save for us " BIG LEAGUE HITTERS DO NOT MISS HIS FASTBALL"
  15. Roto According to Jon Heyman of SI.com, free agent outfielder Jermaine Dye was talking to the Cubs before they signed Xavier Nady. Of course, it won't happen now. Heyman suggests that San Diego or Cincinnati could be possible alternatives for Dye, but the Padres are likely at their limit now that they signed Jon Garland. The Reds are still unsettled in left field, but they could probably bring Jonny Gomes back for less money than it would cost to sign Dye.
  16. Theriot wants that much? LOL...Anything over 1 mil for him is overpaying.
  17. I just hope he starts hitting right away because you know he's going to get booed right away and its going to turn into a nightmare again on and off the field like last year.
