  1. How about Rusch DFA and Ryu up? Ryu can start a few games until Woody comes back, and if he is better than Guzman he can continue to start until Prior is back. (I'd also send Aardvark down and recall Wuertz.) I'd be in favor of HILL getting Rusch's spot in the rotation....and Ryu for middle relief. I don't think Ryu should leap HILL at this point. I'm in favor of signing Al Lieter to take Rusch's spot in the rotation right now. As long as he gawn, I'm happy.
  2. How about Rusch DFA and Ryu up? Ryu can start a few games until Woody comes back, and if he is better than Guzman he can continue to start until Prior is back. (I'd also send Aardvark down and recall Wuertz.) if ryu gets starts ahead of hill, then hill needs to be traded. it simply wouldn't be fair for him to pitch that well for so long and be 11th on the depth chart. Good point. I want to see Hill up but it should have been from day 1. I either want this kid in the rotation for good or traded.
  3. I figure Hendy would feel foolish to send 5 Mill to the minors. That is where Rusch belongs, however.

  5. I would like to see a Rusch DFA, but I just don't see the Cubs doing that given the contract. 2 scenarios I would be ok with ... Rusch DFA, AAArdsama sent down. Jerome Williams and Michael Wuertz recalled. AAArdsama sent down, Wuertz up. Rusch to long relief. Ohman sent down. Williams to the rotation. I only want to see Hill up if hes going to the rotation and staying there for the rest of the year. If hes getting called up just until Prior is back, I'd go with Williams.
  6. Welcome! I just heard on ESPN AM 1000 that the Cubs will probably wait around all day to try and get this game in. The Cubs and Brewers don't have an open day, that works for both teams, for several months. Plus, the Cubs could lose 2.5 M if the game is rained out. They may wait for a window in the weather or just play during a constant light rain. Thanks! I guess I'll stick around and hope they get this in.
  7. By the time my spot in the rotation comes, I will likely have ALOT more posts ... Sign me up anyways.
  8. Hey guys! First post of many! What do you think the chances are of this one getting in? If not, I guess I'll go see a flick. I really was hoping we would wash the bad taste out of our mouths from yesterday, but we might need the off day. When is the next time we have one?
