I think they said that if we lose this game we will be 3-12 in our past 15 games including the playoffs at Arizona. And we get the Marlins next who we haven't beaten in a very long time. The bright side is that it is at Wrigley rather than Florida.

I wouldn't mind seeing an analysis on the Cubs current scouting and in particular how they measure up to other teams. Granted, I know that there are discussions about Wilken in the draft forum, but I don't recall seeing much in terms of comparison particularly within the division. -

He might be too expensive for the Rays. True, he would definitely be a rental. I don;t think I'd advocate the Rays giving up their young talent, but as a Rockie's GM I would try.

If I'm the Rockies' GM, I'm probably focusing on getting FMart. Although I might approach the Rays first (selling Holliday as RF) and try to get as much of their good, young minor league talent as possible.
