  1. that show was weird. I could never figure out where they held it. Some stadium with 15 foot ivy covered walls and houses behind them I'm pretty sure those were all filmed at Wrigley Field....but the one in Los Angeles. It was.
  2. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/baseball/mlb/specials/all_star/2008/07/15/heyman.lincecum/
  3. I would definitely like to see a show or atleast numerous segments which focus on minor league systems/prospects.
  4. was he the guy that scored the 100 point basket? i dunno, he was just that random mtv loser who always played in their dumb athletic events. Wasn't he the really cool guy Elaine dated that George had a man crush on too? Step off, brah. Yeah...I believe the characteer's name was Tony.
  5. I had a friend during college that was a DJ for the university's radio station. He was a communications major and got the job. They had set play lists. This was during the height of the OJ trials and on the playlist was "Backstabber" by the Ojays. He made a comment about it before he played the song. Something pretty subtle such as as "Coincidentally, here is "backstabber" by the Ojays." followed by some laughter on his part. He finished his shift and immediately was asked into the office of the powers that be. He was able to keep the job was closely monitored anytime he was on air.
  6. There is one other picture with his son. I believe it might be from the 1948 throwback game.
  7. Geovany Soto + Nick Markakis = orgasms throughout Wrigley Field
  8. I love that trophy. That alone is a reason to compete in it, imo.
  9. Erin Andrews outfit makes her look like she should be yodeling through the Swiss Alps.
  10. Yankee Stadium is going to erupt tomorrow when Hamilton comes to bat.
  11. Either it was an early press conference, Aramis slept in late or he took a nap before the press conference because he has the lines from the pillowcase on his face.
  12. I hear her sandwich-making abilities are top of the line. I'd like to be the meat in an Erin Andrews sandwich. I'd put my salami in her sandwich. I'd like to get a look at her meat curtains.
  13. Zambrano and Volquez seem to be very chummy.
  14. Hopefully, he doesn't tire himself out for the next round.
  15. I don't think anyone has agreed with my Morneau pick. I thought Jeter might be on board for a moment but, no dice.
  16. I attended the one at Wrigley. It was sort of fun being there for it. Although I don't even remember all the participants. McGwire, Canseco, Fielder were a few I remember. I also remember that during batting practice McGwire picked up Griffey and held him up over his head. Two arms over his head and he just held him up horizontally. I also still have the pink hat they gave out. Although I would never think to ever wear it unless I want to be pink hat guy part II. Anyways.......I'll go with Morneau in tonight's derby.
  17. Lincecum's highest pitch counts this year: 122 119 116
  18. Any idea on his pitch count? about 110. That is an interesting spot. The Brewers have no reason to protect his arm. Sure. Since he's a rental they can abuse him for the remainder of the season. I didn't even really think about that.
  19. I would have been good for the NL to see Lincecum in the ASG. Oh well.
