    Since April, Donnie Veal has pitched 77.2 innings to the tune of a 3.94 ERA, 79 K/41 BB and a BAA around .250. Barring any major regression or injury, do you foresee Veal starting out at AA next year or getting the bump up to AAA? Also, what circumstances determine whether a player plays in a winter league or not?

    Players become eligible if they have been with a team for four years (and signed with that team at age 19 or older) or five years for those who signed at 18 or younger. I see. Thanks!

    Yeah, Sutcliff exposed his intelligence on that one. Not only did he claim that Murton missed the cut-off, he also said that if Theriot hadn't been there to catch it something bad would have happened. Nevermind that Derrek Lee was standing behind him.
