    When Wade Miller gets DFA'd on Wednesday, Guzman will slide into the rotation and Cherry will get called up to take up the spot in the bullpen.

    Ugh, no thanks. I can replicate the atmosphere of Comiskular by watching the game at Chucky Cheese's. I'd rather watch on TV.

    I think the only thing appropriate in this situation is a moment of silence. What happened today has nothing to do with the game of baseball. We should honor the memories of those lost in this tragedy, but not bring attention to the way in which they were lost. Play Ball.

    I'm getting kind of desperate for Soriano to turn it on. Hopefully a game under the lights will do some tricks. I'm also hoping Aramis is back. Our line-up sucks pretty hard. I'm struggling to keep my head above water with these guys. This offense should score more runs than it is. The Cubs need to string some wins together and right this ship, or I'm just going to have to be a Joliet Jackhammers fan again this summer. Please don't do that to me boys!

    I think he was the most dangerous hitter in the league for about 4 years. I could be wrong though. Definately up there.

    The only news I ever want to be bothered with about Mark Prior is when he is starting for the Chicago Cubs. Otherwise, I don't really care.

    Pat Hughes is regarded as one of the best in the business. He is an excellent announcer and plays off of Santo very well.

    Someone is going to bust out the sample-size argument, but regardless, he does look very good and seems poised to have an excellent year. Great pitching today, especially getting out of that jam in the 1st.
