  1. This team got patient after two days. 'Cept for Sori.
  2. Double plays? there were 2 outs there fella. Oh yeah.  Eric Gagne eligible to pitch tonight, according to Andy Mazur's replacement.
  3. We don't hit homers anymore. That's really the biggest problem with this team. It's a team designed to score on homers...only we're not hitting homers. Yet.
  4. Crappy Commercials? Now That's Old Style!
  5. ::gasp:: I didn't know D-Lee hit into double plays by swinging on the first pitch EVER. :(
  6. Jones in a 3-1 count, make something happen...
  7. Ronny just said that Theriot is a guy that "always tries to make contact". hahaha, oh Ronny.
  8. i read his best month is april usually...correct me if i am wrong though i hope that's not true Cubs score! Theriot!
  9. Mark Prior should start taking steroids.
  10. More like first base coach... "Now, you wanna make sure on a ground ball hit to the right side that you don't run into the second baseman."
  11. If that forecast is anywhere near correct, I seriously doubt it.
  12. Well do the rest of us a favor and go to class! Just kidding, hope everything works out, whichever you chose. (It's interesting you mentioning that that's how it 'always works for you'. I just told somebody the other day, for the first time I told anybody, that I thought I was incredible bad luck for the Cubs in Wrigley during Dusty's tenure. I went to about 50 games, and they didn't win a single one. I got to see Clemens first appearance at Wrigley 9 (versus M. Clement). L. I saw Mark Prior throw 8 innings and strike out 17. L. I saw Mark Priors first start back from injury in '04, he went 8 innings. L. Those are just the more memorable ones. The latter two were both blown by Borowski. However, I saw about 8 games at Busch in that timespan and the Cubbies won all 8, though Garciaparra pulled his crotch at one of those. Strange.)
  13. Getting stretched for the 5th starter spot. ::crosses fingers::
  14. Anyone can do better than this. Lets go get a lifesize cardboard cut-out of Alex Rodriguez...
  15. I know I wouldn't mind Greg Maddux as our 4th or 5th starter. Oh god, it's like being stabbed in the chest all over again.
  16. I'm a little behind on the thread right now, but it is definitely helpful and wanted, but I'll understand if you want to take a break. I can just do my best to infer.
