I would love to face them in the NLCS again I'd love to face anyone in the NLCS again :) Goodness that would bring back some bad memories. The masochist in me wants to face the Cardinals. The stathead in me wants the Phillies (lefty starters, low-K pitching staff). As opposed to the Marlins starters? I don't know how many of them I can even name. Somewhat moot, the Marlins probably wont be making the playoffs.

Ugh. Please Soto, make sure we don't mess this situation, I can't stomach more bases loaded no outs no runs I've put up with enough of them in my life.

Ugh. Is there anything we can do to just make the Cardinals go away? Anything at all? Playing better teams? The Cubs haven't had a tough schedule, but I think someone posted a breakdown showing the Cards have the easiest schedule in baseball. Al Hrabosky takes offense to that and thinks the Cubs have played way too many home games for their own good. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have played 1 less home games than the Cubs. LoL. Yeah, but lets be honest now people, the Cardinals need to start losing games, and hopefully in heartbreakingly hilarious fashion. Lets see them blow the lead today. (They Wont)

That sounds like you're tempting fate. I'd leave the Cubs as Cubs, no reason to claim more than they deserve right now.

I was at the local gym lifting and I kept going to tvs to check up on the game and when I saw they blew the lead I started screaming at random strangers at the gym Later on teh drive home I heard the call from Pat and Ron when Soriano drove in the winning run, it was pretty cool.
