  1. I severely doubt the 2006 Cubs even had 71 games where they drew 2 or more walks
  2. does it pain anyone else to see how many hittable pitches DeRosa lets fly down the middle? and then swing at some crap
  3. I really dig DeRosa batting 2, btw. STOP STRANDING PEOPLE WE NEED RUNS YOU IDIOTS
  4. ahahahahahah Cedeno you had an at bat magnitudes better than before but it still ended terribly
  5. Ronny couldn't catch up to the fastball last at bat, what makes you think he'll get solid contact this one?
  6. Whenever I insult him before he gets up to bat he does something good So I think I'm going to make a habit out of it
  7. At least Gallagher has made Swisher look silly today
  8. stupid dumb, everything is dumb baseball is stupid
  9. The Fox cameramen are going ridiculously high on every flyball (hit by the Sox of course) to scare us
  10. It figures that Jermaine gets a base hit almost exactly in the same spot that Geovany hit it
  11. If this bizarre random crap has to happen for us to lose, then I'm ok with it. As long as it doesn't kill the morale of our team. I don't think anyone has hit the ball harder than Geovany and gotten as few base hits. Babip has been his enemy.
  12. Jimmy and Soto have looked bad today and last time they faced Vazquez
  13. Bah Vazquez missed his spot and it was a great pitch down the middle damnit more line outs for Rammy
  14. Regardless of Lee getting to first, that was another awful at bat
  15. I've been on the 2 starters train for a couple weeks. Get one of the bigger guys (CC, Harden, Burnett) and get a back of the rotation guy in someone like Wolf or Maddux. You could probably get either of those guys for something real cheap, plus they should be better than the back end of our rotation right now (even though Gallagher has been good lately). You don't think one of Hill, Marshall or Gallagher can be just as good as Randy Wolf? And without the price? Come on people, you're overreacting here.
  16. Cedeno may look horrendous at bat, but I at least feel fine with him throwing to first unlike Theriot
  17. This would be all well and survivable if our bullpen was ok, but Lou thew like 8 relievers in the game where Marquis blew up and justifiably used a few yesterday, so we really can't survive our starter not going at least 5 or 6 today, and with Marshall tomorrow.... Crap.
  18. He's approximately 863x better than Juan Pierre
  19. Oh I dont know, how about not put Fontenot and Cedeno in the lineup? Obviously, given the situation, he needs to use 1, but he could put Murton in LF and DeRosa at 2B I was being a tad sarcastic with that last comment
  20. jesus They wont even let us have the illusion of a close game, another clobbering, hmm?
  21. It must suck being Lou and watching this offensive juggernaut team slow down and then his pitching fall apart What can he do? Well other than putting Fontenot and Cedeno in the lineup?
