The Cubs will be very good by the end of the year and the 215, 2016 and especially 2017 teams had real long annoying rough stretches. It’s baseball, and baseball sucks.

I’m a total weirdo. I was at the Holiday Club on Irving Park to watch game 7 with some friends. It was a lot of fun up until that 8th and I had feelings of doom based on how poorly Joe managed Chapman that whole series. When it was tied, I gathered my stuff, smoked a cigarette, and left the bar. I then proceeded to listen to the game on the radio on my phone on the train ride home because I refused to watch them blow the game on tv. I got back to my apartment in time to watch Zobrist give the Cubs the lead.
