    As long as Ohman is a loogy and doesn't pitch much against righties, i think he is an above average reliever (at least).

    The point is that we are outscoring the opponents consistently, which is better than completely sucking. That's the problem, they aren't outscoring them consistently. They are outscoring them by a wide margin in 1 game, and then coming up short in 2. Stop bursting my optimistic bubble :twisted: . :lol:

    The Cubs should probably go 7-2 by may 6, but they should also be in first place right now. I don't trust their consistency.

    Sounds good but I'd bat barrett 5 against rhp and have floyd at 6. against lhp i'd even consider possibly switching derosa and murton if derosa keeps playing well and murton struggles.

    He's been really, really good this year. Far better then I thought. Hendry deserves some applause so far for Lilly, Marquis, and Derosa, all criticized signings.

    This makes me sad. (Yes, still harboring much hate and anger.) I don't mind watching Yankees games, because they're pretty much always entertaining baseball. I can root for the BoSox, Orioles, A's, and now in agreement with Roast, the Texas Sammys. I can only do this if the Cubs haven't discouraged me from baseball altogether though. After last May, I spent the rest of the season forgetting baseball completely. Me too, although I think it was June for me.
