It's a message board. We talk about what we have. If you have an opportunity to talk to Lou and get the scoop straight from him, let us know. Otherwise we'll just have to talk about this. And who is saying anything about it being the ironclad truth other than you? -
It was so slow as to be unusable for about 2-3 hours this morning.

So you're saying King wanted us to get a QB that makes stupid decisions to replace our starting QB that makes stupid decisions? King is the only one I've seen that's down on the Bears draft. I've seen mostly B's and B+'s from most media outlets. He's the leader of the anti-Grossman bandwagon. To be honest, I was disappointed they didn't draft a QB. But they weren't drafting one in the first (I do not understand why so many mocks had them doing so), and they weren't getting anybody who was going to start in 2008. I'm a firm believer in the draft a QB every year theory. Stockpile those guys as often as possible. You never know when a 4th rounder will pick up on things and become a valuable starter down the road, or even trade bait. They did get a couple as undrafted free agents though...and if you aren't gonna take one in the first, and you aren't enamored with any of the remainders... I think Jerry and Lovie both want to see what Rex and Kyle can do with an O-line that can protect them.

Also, FWIW, that homer that Pie had last week...and the throw to third the other day...both very frustrating. -

Where on defense do you think they have a hole to fill? Safety depth is really the only place I can think of. D line is always a good thing too. I think they'll get another O-line guy, and a QB at some point here.

And the Panthers officially will not have a QB in this draft. With Delhomme in the last year of his contract. And no legitimate backup. I hate my team. colt brennan and andre woodson. i like both those guys better than henne. Why? Brennan, MAYBE. I think his delivery is messed up and he's too small. But I never understood the view on Woodson as a good prospect. He's inaccurate and as soon as he's drafted he's going to have the slowest delivery in the NFL (is Leftwich still on a roster?). He's not very mobile either. Woodson is a dreadful prospect. Yeah, Woodson's slow delivery is gonna be his downfall.

I can't imagine that the Bears don't pick a QB tomorrow. Not a big fan of Woodson. I'd be ok with Ainge just because of his size.
