    So is Costas out of both? The last part kind of stinks because I don't get Showtime. Inside the NFL isn't as good as it used to be but it's still worth watching at least after the Vikings win. No...sorry...Costas is still "host" of Football in America. Olbermann, Patrick and Collinsworth are "co-hosts"

    Self Explanatory. For me it's between Wall-E and Finding Nemo. I went with Wall-E, but really it was very very close.

    Dan Patrick is going to be on the Football Night in America show before the Sunday night games on NBC. He's going to reteam with Keith Olbermann to do the NFL highlights from that day. Also Inside the NFL is moving from HBO to Showtime. James Brown, Phil Simms, and Chris Collinsworth will be on that show.

    I agree that's what it says, but I think you're giving the author a bit more credit than he deserves with that distinction. The headline is "Brewers punch ticket for October by adding Sabathia"...though I'll admit that someone else probably wrote the headline. Also the last paragraph doesn't qualify anything... I just think the author wanted to write something "controversial" so here ya go.

    720 does that all the time. Promises Hendry, or MacPhail (when he was around) or some other important so and so, and then they cancel or they just don't mention why they weren't on. Seriously, it was the second most predictable outcome after "Hendry won't say anything of importance."

    why is that nice to see? That he's not buying into this deal making the Brewers the favorites. yeah, but who cares what he thinks? it's not like it helps the cubs or hurts the brewers. You're not wrong, but couldn't you have let this innocuous little comment go? no It must be very important to you. obviously. seriously though, a lot of posters' energy this summer seems to be focused on what jayson stark is saying, what brewers message boards are saying, what ozzie guillen is saying, etc. i just don't see the point. Well I'm just thankful we have someone here to police these foolish people. Hold up. I know that abuck can be gruff, but what did he say that was so out of line here? He expressed his opinion, pretty reasonably. He never attacked anyone...just the opinion. It took your post to make it personal. Maybe he should have let it go...but maybe you should have too.     How do you know this? Pitching coaches work with their pitchers on mechanics on a weekly basis. How do you know what Duncan was or wasn't telling Ankiel. Ankiel's collapse began during the playoffs. Do you think they were changing Ankiel's mechanics during the playoffs? It's certainly possible. I don't know one way or the other. (Nor do you) If a pitcher has a bad inning during the playoffs, do you think his pitching coach says NOTHING to him about his mechanics? Sure...to reinforce the mechanics he's been using successfully. Not to change mechanics that have been successful. You're right, I don't know, but I can intelligently surmise that they didn't decide during the playoffs to tell Rick Ankiel to quit using the mechanics that he'd been successful with and try to pitch a different way.
