  1. Nah...just the one comment.
  2. Come on now...you said he played well, and we just pointed out that he had some trouble spots. Where's the "hyperbole off" switch on you?
  3. In 10 or so years when baseball is a solvable equation actually watching the games will seem quaint. BASEBALL IS PLAYED ON COMPUTERS.
  4. He wasn't. He was the only good thing (other than Forte's pass catching) in the offense last week. VAR has him as the 4th most effective QB last week (Peyton, Brady...Orton?). aromashadu and taylor played well, too. the offense was very good except for the fumbles and the goal-line situations. this team doesn't play well in the red zone and they need to figure out how to fix it. Aromashadu dropped an easy TD pass.
  5. so unbelievably stupid not to wear a condom when you're bangin some groupie. oh yeah, sure, you're on the pill, i believe you. Not a groupie. It was his ex-gf. Still unbelievably stupid though, of course.
  6. I agree 100%. I'll never understand people who tune out in September just because their team is eliminated. I gotta be honest. I'm Cubs fan more than a baseball fan. That's why. I don't watch teams outside of the Cubs very often at all, unless they somehow impact the Cubs chances. But even outside of that, 162 games is a long freaking haul if it ends up not mattering in the end. I have better, more enjoyable things I'd rather be doing than watching meaningless, bad baseball. Hope you weren't watching any godawful preseason NFL Eh...about as much as I watch spring training games. I watch it for the players I care about...but once they're done, so am I. I'll casually pay attention to the headlines...and I'll probably watch some playoff games...so I guess if that counts...

  8. No other sports are on this time of year. Are you being serious? Or is this an attempt at sarcasm? Ok, your right, love going to a good CC meet but other than that I don't like college football and the NFL isn't interesting until week 14, and I don't do the "fantasy thing." I rather be doing yard work or going for a long run. Baseball is at its best right now, I can't see baseball fans watching anything else Oh...you're not being sarcastic...you're just trolling for a response. I'll pass.

  10. There's a difference between understanding that the call was correct, but disagreeing with the rule...and thinking it should have been called a TD. The screenshot he linked didn't say anything about disagreeing with the rule. Just that it should have been a TD...which of course, by rule, it shouldn't have been.

  12. He just got traded to the Broncos. No word on what the Pats get.
  13. The only balancing that needs to be done, imo, is the removal of interleague "rivalries".
  14. That's the guy I'd be targeting. Either him or Marshawn. But how realistic is it for Dallas to trade one of their backs to another conference contender? Once the Cowboys lose to the Bears and Texans, they'll be in more of a trading mood... ;)
  15. Would any of them be that much of an upgrade over Brandon Jackson? Still need a backup, even if you're using Jackson to start.
  16. Delayed response to this thread, but... There is nobody on the team named Alphonso.

  18. Who? Bears or Cowboys? Bears, obviously. Misplaced rage: the Bears didn't invent the completed catch rule. But the Bears did triple the Lions number of total yards, so I can kinda understand some dislike.
  19. Who? Bears or Cowboys?
  20. With Grant on my ffb team, I'm more concerned with the health of a Packer than I like to be normally. Unfortunately, it's not sounding very good...
  21. It'd go about a third to a quarter of the way for sure...
  22. I'm really hoping the Cowboys are looking at the Bears as a free win.
  23. But hey, the Bears threw for 350+ and only had 1 pick.
