I'm not going to suggest this is a Super Bowl year for the Bears, cuz that's obviously putting the cart WAY before the horse here... But is this season reminding anyone else of the start of the Super Bowl run a few years ago? The Bears "lucked" their way to wins...were generally ridiculed for not being as good as their record would indicate, and generally under-appreciated nationally. Hester running back kicks, Bears winning with bend (a lot) but don't break (often), being incredibly stingy with rushing yards... Just seems like I've done the whole arguing about "the Bears got a gift win" before. At some point, can we say that talent helps cause penalties, and forcing long drives helps create chances for turnovers? I'm not convinced we're the best team in the league, but we're clearly damn good and should be in the conversation.
