  1. Ew...I do. That was during the stretch of some really awful QB's, wasn't it? Oh right...that was the year Grossman got hurt, and Orton played most of the season.
  2. HA! My Redskin fan buddy said he did the "McNabb after Gano's FG attempt" face upon seeing this... Redskins will meet with Jamarcus Russell.
  3. Who was the last one? I honestly can't remember. Berrian was for a short time, though he never quite got to 1000yds. Booker was in the pro bowl in 2002 and had two 1000+yd season for the Bears.
  4. David Haugh's writing has really disappointed me since he took over "In The Wake of the News". Something about that column makes those who write it lose at least half of their IQ.
  5. I only watched the first period of the game, but man that place seemed empty. Was it as dead quiet as it sounded on tv?
  6. I updated the dates, since I don't think it did a whole lot of good having last years offseason schedule.
  7. Mike Martz says that Chester Taylor will be used for goal line situations.
  8. But in Childress's press conference earlier today (about 30 min before the release), Childress said they allowed Moss to stay in Boston to visit family/friends or something.
  9. I'd guess you can withhold salary like you could with any player that is holding out, but I don't know that for sure.
  10. Moss has no say. Either sit out or play for the team that takes his claim. Right, but if he says I'm not playing for anyone but New England would a team really pay his salary just to block the Patriots? Vikings have to pay his salary regardless. No. If he's claimed, the claiming team has to pay the remainder of his salary. If he goes unclaimed, then the Vikes pay it, and he's a UFA.
  11. Pompei says Moss to Bears unlikely. http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/11/pompei-bears-unlikely-to-make-run-at-moss.html
  12. If the Bears snagged Moss, who would you sit? Move Hester back to full time returner, maybe?
  13. Sorry, it's the remaining from the $6.4 million. You're right. If he makes it through waivers, it's conceivable that the Pats could sign him for some small amount, and then not only get Moss, but get the draft picks and get salary relief.
  14. And then he's an unrestricted FA right? Yep.
  15. hmmm...he might go all the way through waivers....any team that claims him has to pay his $6.4 million salary...if he goes unclaimed...the Vikes have to pay it.
  16. Awesome.
  17. He'd be playing the team he started the season with twice. Not to mention he'd get two games against the Vikings!
  18. Washington maybe?
  19. Ben Leber confirms Childress told team Moss was being waived.
  20. McNabb had a fun stat like that....played the Cowboys three straight games because of his trade.
  21. I don't think Moss will fall far enough to get to the Bears, much less NE.
  22. Apparently Moss hasn't yet been informed of his release, per PFT.
  23. Holy what? Talk about throwing away draft picks.
