    Well no...it's not ridiculous. We'd all prefer to work where we could make a ton of money. But it may not be especially realistic.

    i can't really think of two teams that have committed more resources towards their CBs, really weird preferences Why not prefer teams that pay cornerbacks? Because they likely have less money to pay a cornerback at this point, because they already have so much money tied up in that position.

    Fixed the broken links, and dramatically reduced the number of links. Figured the advent of the Other Sports forum means we didn't need those links anymore, and I removed most of the individual tv show threads, since they were mostly cancelled shows...Lost, Heroes, 24, BSG... If anyone thinks something should be included that isn't currently, lemme know.

    It would've been the Mountain West's luck for Petersen to take off. I'm glad he's staying.

    Post-concussion Cutler is the biggest, but those two mattered as well. I would have preferred to face New Orleans in Chicago again, but I think the Bears show up and impress this weekend. Yeah...the Seahawks might be the easiest road. But I really would've enjoyed beating the Saints in Chicago again.

    Against the Seahawks, the Bears threw 39 times, compared to 14 runs. We balance that out, and we're in good shape I think.

    Man, after that first game, this Colts-Jets game is a snoozer. Hasslebeck played a fantastic game. No way he has 2 of those in a row in his pocket.

    my god, you're being so annoyingly contrarian at this point it couldn't have made the kick any worse. Crosby kicks the ball, it goes right towards the upright, odds are like 48% it goes left, 48% it sneaks in, and like 4% or something it just clanks off the post I.E. COIN FLIP A.K.A. LUCK, HOW MUCH CLEARER CAN I MAKE THIS You're acting as though the kicker has no impact.

    And a lot of coaches looking for extensions are going to be expecting to get paid. Lovie Smith, for example.

    Yeah...I don't know how you can say it was a half inch from going in or whatever...it was a half inch from missing entirely too. Why would wind necessarily help the kick? It could've made it worse. If the kicker would've put it in the middle, it'd be a non-issue.

    I'm actually a bit mad at myself for this argument...I've clearly jinxed things back into GB's direction now. You're welcome Packer fans. Get in here and reverse jinx this for me Sulley.

    Or bad coaching. Or poor performance when a game is close and late. Or lack of a running game to run out the clock. Or lack of a run defense to stop the other team from running out the clock... The last two points aren't very good ones. Every game we've lost, we've had to either come back at the very end of the game (where no running is really required), or we've stalled out on offense in overtime. In fact, I think we've been able to successfully run out the clock more often than not this year when need be. Admittedly, I haven't watched all the GB games this season. I was just throwing out other possibilities besides "luck" which seems to be a catch all for people when the results don't match the way the team looks on paper.
