  1. He's right, but Rosenbloom still manages to make me want to punch him in the face, even when he's right. Yeah. Kind of surprising to see him take this angle though. I didn't think he would. And then he makes you want to punch him in the face again. http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/rosenblog/2011/01/why-is-martz-still-here.html After arguably the best offensive year the Bears have had in the past decade. Not saying I approve of the 3rd and 3 call or the Collins fiasco either. But still. Mike Tice? Worth a punch in the face. Heh...yeah...I posted that earlier...Rosenbloom is pretty worthless.
  2. [expletive] Illinois Bastards There's also the slightly more obscure FISHTAB.
  3. This is a weird discussion for the Bulls thread.
  4. Yeah, he's probably an early 2nd round pick at this point, taking the spot of Ryan Broyles who stayed in school. Like was said yesterday, with the success of Jackson, Wallace, and Knox; guys his size aren't going to be overlooked anymore if they can play. I've seen people speculating he could get into the first round, but that's mostly message board draftnik wannabe's. Man those message board people are lame!
  5. Death goes a long way for ratings When was the last time there was a death in a major auto race? I don't follow the sport, so maybe it's been more recent than I realize.
  6. S becomes a huge need if he goes. I'd actually like more of a FS type, because I think Harris and Wright can both play SS, and I'd like a true ballhawk at FS. If Manning leaves, and if the Bears go WR early in the draft, I wonder if Hester starts doing kickoff returns again.
  7. lol...I love that there's a "legitimate" way to have scattered loyalties.
  8. He's right, but Rosenbloom still manages to make me want to punch him in the face, even when he's right. Yeah. Kind of surprising to see him take this angle though. I didn't think he would. He's back to his usual insanity today, trying to push Martz out the door.
  9. They should threaten to leave the conference!! Oh wait....
  10. I've had sigs and avatars off for so long that I've forgotten what my own avatar is now, honestly. EDIT: Just checked...probably time for a change.
  11. Is that just to say "[expletive] you" to TCU for leaving? That and the MWC has a vested interest in Boise winning. It can count both of them toward their application for an autobid this year, but only Boise will count in the next cycle, which includes this year. I see...I didn't realize that this year was counted in the next cycle.
  12. Jason Whitlock apparently thinks the players are going to cave in immediately when the lockout comes. Makes some great points.....at least on the labor stuff. Forget his conspiracy theory stuff about Cutler and the Bears though. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/NFL-players-will-turn-on-union-director-plus-jason-whitlock-super-bowl-preview-012511

  14. Very nice!
  15. lol It doesn't show up in the poll, but I voted "throwing rocks at snakes" as my favorite sport.
  16. Hanie is a unrestricted free agent so who knows. Some team who needs a QB may look to bring him in We can be pretty sure that none will pull off the pornstache better than Caleb Hanie though.
  17. After all the bashing, I think it can be nothing but a good thing when guys like Brees and Rivers say stuff like this. They have a bit of perspective on things and may shut some people up considering that, you know, they're actually NFL QBs. Rivers was kinda backhanded I thought though. I guess the point that people don't get, or don't want to get, is that Cutler didn't make the decision to come out. People are like "they'd have to drag me off". No they wouldn't. Your coach says you sit, you sit.
  18. Because the entire league needs to weigh in...
  19. He was just listing UFA's, but I'd agree with you.
  20. Yes, can't diminish the value of the leader of an offensive line that allowed its QBs to get sacked 56 times, mostly due to blitzes that weren't picked up. Want Back: Roach, Manning, E Williams, Hanie, Adams Don't want back: Tinoisamoa (good player, too many injuries), Clark, Collins, Kreutz, Davis, Maynard, Bullocks, Wilson Probably want out: Graham (goes to a team that lets him play CB), Aromashodu (goes to a team the lets him play WR) I bet Graham and Davis stay for ST.
  21. Brad Biggs has a similar article on Chicagobreakingsports.com.
  22. That makes more sense...I can see that then.
  23. I have so many questions about that poll. I'm sorry, but I find it impossible to believe that golf, track and field , tennis and bowling have the same popularity. That's just ridiculous.
  24. He's right, but Rosenbloom still manages to make me want to punch him in the face, even when he's right.
