In the old days you might think the Bears would find a way to rally around the slights and shut him down, but the current days are not old. How big of a difference can Briggs make by himself?

Seriously? Enough of that crap. The seahawks have had their share of PED users but Browner is not one this time. He is getting popped because he missed tests while in the CFL. Lawsuit is pending and he will be back in 2014. The hate for Carroll (for whatever reason - still unclear) is ridiculous. Seriously? You don't understand why a dude that bailed on a school to avoid major penalties from the NCAA is not loved like a big fuzzy teddy bear?

He said on his show that he had to go through the process...yadda yadda. It was all very optimistic, and he thought he'd play, but officially has to get all the right clearances.

maybe by his standards. by compared to matt flynn standards (or really the nfl in general) he's been great against them. and that's against much much much better defenses. Maybe our sudden terribleness will surprise him into mistakes.

Apparently Packers fans are rooting for the Bears this weekend. For the Packers to make the playoffs, they have to win out anyway. If the Bears win, the Packers can get a #3 seed. If the Eagles win, the Packers can only get a #4 seed.

Is Rose doing that though? Presuming the Daily News article is correct, how is that Rose looking out for himself? Isn't it in his best interest to build this team for the future where he's actually playing basketball?

It's a more well put together version of exactly what Bernstein has been saying on the radio, and it's hard to disagree with anything he says there. Do we think Rose actually is complaining? Him or his camp are. And he's responsible for their behavior. At the very least, Rose is losing control of his image.

Our local programming doesn't start until Noon. The 12-3 guys are okay, though kinda dry. The 3-6 show is the Columbus version of Boers & Bernstein, where they take the piss out of meatballs and those who take the games too seriously I forgot you weren't in the Chicago area.
