I liked baseball better then. I hate admitting that.... Actually I liked the era between the steroid area and this current dead ball era, where not everyone was doping, but some guys still were. Less guilt enjoying that product. Why feel guilty? You weren't doping...or were you???? guilty watching players who are killing themselves for my enjoyment I see. Well good news....I'm sure football players banging their heads against each other repeatedly has no long lasting consequences you should feel guilty about watching.

EDIT: Looks like this is another misleading blurb. The SI.com article just listed 5 teams that Reed could end up on. Bears were one suggestion.

In general, Q doesn't let young guys play through any growing pains. He has a very short leash with young guys, while he will let veterans struggle out there to work through things. It's not a hard and fast rule, and you can find times where that's not the case. -

The WGN radio pres is saying this? WGN Radio Pres Jimmy DeCastro...Vice President of Content and Programming, Todd Manley...and Tribune President of Broadcast Media, Larry Wert were all on at the same time. I presume it was Larry that said this, but honestly, I'm not 100% who was talking. @WGNRadio has a lot of tweets summing up what was said, though it skipped that tv comment.

Talking about the TV side, and saying they conversation is still going on, and that they're optimistic on that front.

WGN Radio Pres on now. Worked very hard to try to continue the relationship with the Cubs...saying that the current arrangement just doesn't make business sense, as much as they value the relationship...yadda yadda. The Cubs basically wanted more money, and WGN wasn't willing to pay.

Lamar Houston and Jordan Mills got into a fight in today's OTA, and Martellus got involved and had to be restrained. Trestman ended practice after that. Martellus still seems worked up on twitter.
