  8. The Ken Tremendous/Chris Pratt exchange in reply to this will be appreciated by P&R fans. Edit: for the Derwoods of the board...
  9. What? Everybody freaking loved him. Sure, he pushed guys hard, but I've never heard anything but love for the guy. This Ross backlash is weird.
  10. so was everybody, amirite? jk, but yeah i was at school. i remember coming home and having my dad flip on the tv for literally the final pitch. My brother had a "study day" off at college before finals, and rather than study he and friends were sitting in the bleacher at Wrigley. Like you, I caught the end of it on TV.
  11. I was at the game where Bill Mueller destroyed his knee. My brother was at Kerry Wood's 20k game.

  13. Watching the highlights, and reading the stories, there was one foul call that you could argue the Barca player went down pretty easy, and it led to a free kick goal, but it was a helluva shot...pretty tough to blame the refs for much in that game. But I didn't watch it live.
  14. I thought maybe it was a joke? EDIT: reading the rest of her timeline since that tweet and nope....yeesh.
  15. I remember the day of the Cutler trade, and how excited I was. The Mike Glennon news falls a little short of that.
  16. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/j-d-martinez-debunks-conventional-wisdom-thinks-a-tipping-point-is-near/ LOL, I love the part where they're like "but Max Kepler doesn't agree." Oh.
  17. damn you brandon for fixing my intentionally broken link that i broke so it wouldn't embed and instead just be a link to the entire thread. (although yeah i probably could've just disabled bb code) Oh it was intentional? Yeah I did not get that. So you intended for people to have to copy and paste and then remove the space? That seems...inefficient.
  18. Yes he was. He was the "MLB International" broadcaster. Jesus, how many people were watching that feed in America? I dunno, but his call was replayed a lot....."Santa Maria!"
  19. Yes he was. He was the "MLB International" broadcaster.
  20. It freaking tied a World Series game 7 late after it appeared the Cubs were running away with that game. It was a huge, huge moment...
