Except building a team with good OBP and power, and have a manager that knew how to use his players to get maximum performance. But yeah, other than that, we've tried everything. Agreed! Let's put it this way no matter who is the manager unless you get a GM that understands how to build a team it won't matter... Come on...a better manager could get this team to play better. This team has talent. Baker puts them in the position least likely to succeed, and shockingly, they don't. For the hundredth time, Dusty asked for these players! Lets get a manager in there that can be successful! Hendry has an extension. He's not going anywhere. There's no reason to be saddled with a bad manager because of that. Where do you see talent? What change managers and all of a sudden Pierre hit's over .300, Todd Walker shines as a number 3 hitter, and our 3 rookie pitchers start to pitch lights out. This a a bad team! Maybe not this bad (in the last two weeks) but a below .500. This argument is circular. Are you asking me to post the lineup I posted like 10 pages back that I think would be successful? No, I don't think that Juan Pierre will be a .300 hitter, but I think he could be more productive in the #2 spot, where we aren't counting on him getting on base as much, but he could possibly move the runner over. Or better yet down toward the bottom of the lineup where if he does start hitting, he could provide a late inning spark...at least for now. I also didn't have Walker as a number 3 hitter in my lineup. This team has enough talent to be above .500. I think a good manager would be playing winning baseball with this team. But I'm done arguing it, because I'm done with the circular argument.
