  1. Sooooo lucky that pass wasn't caught.
  2. Grossman had his helmet on...looked ready to come in after the kickoff.
  3. Nice job Benson!! I'd love to see him have a big game.
  4. He wasn't even out when Manning hit him!!! ARGH! And Todd Johnson out....that's not good.... FUMBLE!!!

  6. Why false start on a FG??? dumb. Terrible officiating so far.
  7. I thought the same thing. He could have gotten that first all by himself I think...
  8. Wow is the board running really sluggish for everyone today?
  9. Both Lawrence Holmes and Zack Zaidman were speculating that we're going to see Devin Hester in coverage today at times.
  10. I just think it's great how there's competition for the #2 spot with Bradley and Berrian. We've got our solid #1 veteran in Muhsin Muhammad, and we've got two guys who could step in and be our #2 receiver. Both guys are definitely deep threats, and definitely open up the offense. We have a nice "problem" with these two guys battling it out, trying to one up each other when the other isn't in. Bradley was a stud at OU, and he's shown he can make the big play in this league. I thought his catch-and-run TD from last week was pretty darn impressive. Agreed. He had one on one coverage and made his guy miss badly. It was a very good play. But still, who's annointing him savior? He's simply an additional weapon that we haven't been sure of until this point in the season. If you're expecting him to be a "savior" or for him to "carry" us, then that's just silly.
  11. Man they look overrated. Wallace was a big mistake, and you aren't gonna be able to get rid of him with that contract. Meanwhile, Skiles is worried about headbands. I'm going to have to not get terribly excited about beating the freaking knicks.
  12. My concern now is that Drew's going to be probably looking for a similar if not better contract.
  13. Well the difference is, of course, that we'll have Soriano for 2 years more than the Astros will have C Lee. If they both produce like this for 4 more years, well then the Astros only have 2 decline years to deal with, while we have 4. Of course, if we can win a World Series in those productive years, I'll manage to get over it.
  14. This contract makes me feel better about the Soriano deal.
  15. Please see this link. It's a sticky in the baseball forum.
  16. Owens is sooooo overrated. Two huge drops in this game so far, a trend for the whole season. Can't say I'm not enjoying it.
  17. Keith Law of ESPN has an excellent blog entry on this....heh. http://insider.espn.go.com/espn/blog/index?entryID=2670934&name=law_keith Insider access required
  18. This story is on ESPN. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2672610
  19. I went ahead and updated the topic to avoid confusion.
  20. I bet they get a hometown discount, a-la A-ram.
  21. Sigh. Fine. Game threads are out. In that case, the only competition I could think of would be the Maddux signing thread, or the Nomar trade thread.
  22. Strong contenders we are not... yet. More pitchers needed there are. http://swg.stratics.com/content/lore/personas/images/yoda.gif
  23. Berrian is playing with bruised ribs. That pass was high, and completely exposed him to a shot to those ribs. I'm sure that was on his mind when that pass was thrown. Berrian doesn't usually drop passes. I'm willing to give him a few weeks here to get himself feeling right. I think the original report was 4 weeks recovery. Lets see what he does in the Minnesota and StL games.
  24. Hmm...Andy leaves, now Sharon. Maybe it's the inner-conspiracy theorist in me, but its seems like there's an "abandon ship" kind of thought process in some of the front office folks. Of course, my basis for that is only 2 people, nonetheless it's the first thing that crossed my mind.
