  1. Heh...Grossman's stats are WAY better than Eli's... Still wanna put in Griese, Cubbies75? :P
  2. Well other than the turnovers, the Bears look like the better team don't you think????
  3. Do you mean the Vermeil commercial? I love those. More Vermeil and less Mellencamp plz. Agreed.
  4. I've decided I would rather have a smart kick returner than a "playmaker".
  5. Moose needs to call up Kenny Rogers and borrow some pinetar.
  6. If he can't handle the media, he can't handle the media. It takes a different skill set to play on the field. I realize the skills are independant of one another. It's not a greatly rational argument, it's just one of those "reaction" kind of thoughts.
  7. Johnny Unitas, Bart Starr, and Joe Montana were all total dorks. Leave the thread... :D I kid, I kid. It's just the impression I get. I could be way off base.
  8. You know, part of what scares me a little about Rex is that he seems unsure of himself in interviews. I know that's a silly reason, but if he can't be comfortable in an interview, how is he going to be comfortable in a big game? Yes, he's young, but look at a guy like Philip Rivers who's so natural in an interview.... Anyway, it's just a thought.
  9. Oh c'mon, man. The guy comes in here and starts trashing the Bears, kicking dirt in our faces while we are down, and you tell us to back off? The only thing we are doing is challenging him on his backwards a** arguments. He knew he was in for it when he posted it. If he didn't like the response he shouldn't have come in here spouting off. If that's all that was happening, fine. I wouldn't have said a thing. When people start telling him to leave the thread...that's out of line. And frankly, if an argument in a game thread, Cubs, Bears, or otherwise, begins to get out of control and dominate the thread, I'm going to put an end to it. If you want to start a seperate thread about Carolina's worthiness, and it stays within the board rules, fine. No problem.
  10. DING DING DING. We have a winner! That wasn't supposed to be congratulatory. Thank you for scoring a TD Bears. If it's not worth the hassle, then why bother? You're gonna come in here, when the Bears are losing, say something degrading them, and expect us not to jump on you? Seriously, please explain to me your logic in posting that? I'm all ears. Banedon said the argument's over, so I'm gonna comply. Thank you.
  11. Enough. Anyone is allowed to post in the Bears thread, even if you don't agree. No one needs to leave the thread. Talk to a mod if you think someone is trolling. But ndistops, you also have to expect a certain amount of grief in a Bears thread if you're making comments about them...but it's gone on long enough. Everyone: LET THE TOPIC DROP.
  12. Ok guys...end the argument. Everyone has made their point. Enough. This goes for everyone.
  13. BRADLEY! YES YES YES YES YES!!!
  14. I'd actually like to see them try a deep ball...what the hell at this point.
  15. Um...because the Bears would have the ball?
  16. I believe there something appropriate to say about a squirrel and a nut....
  17. Gah! Come on Tillman...hold on to it...
  18. Well that's the first time I've seen the special teams give up a big run back....that sucks.
