    people go different ways with this. I agree with the decision. you can't assume your defense is going to throw a shutout the rest of the game. that automatic one can be very valuable down the road. And yet, if a FG is all they get the rest of the game, that can be the difference. I can see both sides. Probably depends on your confidence in the RZ. With Jacobs, I'd have probably gone for 2.

    if that's true, this team has no chance to win the super bowl. I know you like that consipiracy theory jjgman, but the O-line was terrible for TJ in the first half too...he had NO room to run. The second half, different story. TJ just happened to be in there when they started blocking.

    :lol: Carolina's the kind of team that, if they play well can beat almost any team in NFL history, but if they play bad they could lose to the 1976 Buccaneers. And there's usually no middle ground. Weird...Bears are the same. In fact probably most teams in the league would probably claim the same... :)

    Unless Rex blows this game by throwing many INTs/fumbling many times...I retract my statement and apologize to Rex and Bears fans everywhere. :oops: Are you MAD?!? Don't tempt the fates!!! For real...ouchie.

    Honestly though, you notice all this came when the O-line decided to start playing.... Makes Rex look a heckuva lot better.
