  1. Urlacher: "They were supposed to be the best team in the NFC, according to some people. I think we are know, I don't know, I guess we'll find out this week."
  2. Generally it's not Sayers though...it's usually Richard Dent.
  3. I love the guys competing for Jerry Azumah's Best Dressed award each week...good times.
  4. Here ya go guys...the Giants fans think the Bears got all the calls.... http://mb8.scout.com/fgiantsfansfrm1.showMessage?topicID=40073.topic Heh. EDIT: I guess it was just the original poster that thought that...
  5. Hmmm...maybe just the original post.... Nahhh.
  6. I'm not saying this wasn't a factor, but it looks like Giants fans are shrugging this off as the Bears only won because of the Giants injuries. I'm not sure how that affects Coughlin deciding to kick a long FG, Feely missing 2 FG's, and Eli being pretty bad tonight...
  7. You really think so? I think he's a pretty good interview. Loved the line about what overrated "even means," in today's postgame. I just think he stammers a lot over his answers, and it kind of bothers me. I'm just nitpicking though.
  8. How? The replay on the double fumble was terrible. And the phatom horsecollar. That's just off the top of my head.
  9. I would go with CSN. But then again, I'm in Missouri and don't get to watch it. Anyone else feel like this is the best win of the season? Easily. I think Seattle was the best win easily. defending conference champs before they were injured, and nary a doubt in anyone's mind from the openning kickoff who was the better team. They were missing the league MVP.
  10. There were at least 5 game threads longer than this, and I'm pretty sure there was a Juan Pierre thread longer, and the Aramis thread in Transactions now is longer. It's long, but it's not by any stretch near the top. There were some CRAZY long Maddux and Nomar threads. Longest non-Cub thread. BEARS WIN! BEARS WIN! BEARS WIN! Chitchat threads.

  13. Ok...NBC postgame or CSN....choices choices...
  14. Wow, no they didn't. The Giants did not disrespect the damn Bears! What are you basing this on, one players trash talk? Grossman in this game >>>>> Eli in this game, sure. I'm with you...disrespecting is Roy Williams guaranteeing a victory. Not saying the Bears are beatable.
  15. Hooray for the reverse reverse jinx!!!!! :D :D
  16. Burress is one player ... He plays for the Giants, no? Face it, he was trash talking and just got punked. He ran his mouth without knowing the first thing about Tillman, and Till beat him. He should have studied the Bears/Vikings game tapes when Till was covering Moss. Unless you've got elite speed, Till can cover you. Not too many 6'2" corners out there. Burress was doing fine on Tillman, but its not like he can catch passes when Manning is getting rushed heavily/throwing 100 feet above his head. It's funny how a little trash talk gets blown up so much when you lose ... and it's not like Burress didn't play well. it's not like he played great. he caught a few balls, but never got deep and never broke off a big yac. Fair enough. It's not like Manning would have been able to put the ball where it needed to be anyway. Manning or Grossman...if you had your choice...
  17. Giants: "We give up, and would like you to go home now." Fixed :P
  18. This is a big drive! Getting first downs on nothing but running!!

Maybe if they'd come out hot, but they didn't.
  20. If anyone is keeping track... Sunday night games = Good Monday night games = Bad Bad Bad
  21. Burress is one player ... I thought I heard more players say things, but Burress is the only one that I can recall, so I guess I'm wrong. In the opener, Shockey said that the Bears are what Dennis Green thought they were...I'm sure it was just to hype the game, but still...
