    Z must have cut open Barrett's brain and sucked out what remained of Michael's hitting prowess. You watch Heroes too much. What's Heroes? A show on NBC where people have superpowers, and the villian slices open peoples skulls (the people with superpowers anyway) and presumably takes their brain...absorbing their powers in the process. It really sounds exactly like what you were talking about. :)

    And that's fine. It's just my belief that good play leads to a happy team, not the other way around. A happy bad team is still bad. I'll take the unhappy good team.

    Not too many team chemistry stats available. How do you measure chemistry? By winning record? Sorry, I'm just not a believer in team chemistry.

    I'm not sure what you're trying to get at. I've shown you proof that the Cubs hit and score in clutch situations. But they can't pitch at all in those same situations. But because you were pessimistic after the bullpen blew the lead, you want to throw out the stats and say you have no faith in a comeback? You have every right to feel pessimistic about this team...I sure am. But I think you're focusing it on the wrong area of the team.

    Actually, "Close and late" is the stat you want, because who cares how many runs are scored in the 8th and 9th innings of blowouts? And I listed the close and late stats above. It just doesn't mesh with what you're saying.

    I'm not sure why Marshall hasn't gotten more love from Cubs fans. He's been a pretty solid performer for an end of the rotation guy.

    If the Bears decide Culpepper would be a better backup than Griese, and they cut him, what kind of hit would the Bears take for Griese? Is that something they would do? I don't see the Bears dumping Orton...I think they still view him as a project that can be productive at some point in the future.

    I like the coverage, I don't like the time between picks. Unfortunately one kinda comes with the other.

    Yeah, I can't see this catching on. There can't be that many people that want to watch these people babble on and on. I don't think Thursday afternoons were garnering a lot of ratings for ESPN anyways, so whatever ratings they get out of this will be a plus.
