  1. I’m no hockey expert but that seems like a great deal.
  2. One positive in tis realignment is that Baylor is completely fucked and left out in the cold. Lol.
  3. Chimp Brown is usually wrong so maybe there’s hope for me yet. Lol.
  4. Welp, guess I was too naïve. Seems like it's only a mater of when and not if. Not happy with Sankey horsefeathering us and going back on what Mike Slive guaranteed would not happen.
  5. Unfortunately Mike Slive is dead because when he was SEC Commissioner he gave the A&M President a gentleman’s agreement that Texas would not be allowed in without our approval. It’s been in place with other schools prior to us. Florida blocked Florida State from consideration. But we specifically discussed that with the SEC before joining. I understand and accept that this may indeed happen but I don’t think it’s a slam dunk like many do and if it does happen it’s a major slap in the face to A&M.
  6. How Texas A&M can stop Texas from moving to the SEC In addition to the academic side of it, Vandy has a history of abstaining from these votes. They did so for both A&M and Missouri.
  7. What makes you say that? I have to think that money talks and they will end up bolting for the SEC. The Horns and OU had no comment when asked about the report. I have no doubt that they want in but unless we go to 30-40 team super-conferences they aren't likely to get in. The SEC already has the Texas footprint with A&M so adding Texas doesn't add a whole lot of monetary value. And it's been an unwritten rule for a while now not to add another school from a state where there's already a member. Florida has shot down adding FSU in the past. A&M will fight tooth & nail to keep Texas out. When making major moves, the SEC likes to do things unanimously. I'm not delusional. If Texas had wanted to join a decade ago they would be in and A&M would have been left out but they were too arrogant for that.
  8. Texas in the SEC isn't going to happen.
  9. Young me could never have been happy to see the Bucks win a title but Giannis seems to be a genuinely good human being in addition to being a monster on the court and I'm happy for my fellow Aggie Khris Middleton as well.
  10. In divorce documents, Ben Zobrist says Julianna ‘coaxed’ him into returning to the Chicago Cubs, while she requests $4M of the $8M he forfeited while on leave Just when I thought I couldn't think any less of Julianna...
  11. This post aged well. :) EDIT: Post was made Sun May 08, 2016 7:46 pm and can be found on page 1.
  12. So long, Duncs. :bye:
  13. yea, basically you want to make the keeper save it - the italian keeper is 6'5" so the window to get in above him is not that big and the risk of going over (or off) the bar is too high. Basically, each of those balls that was saved probably goes in if it's on the ground. Does it matter how tall he is when he immediately dives to the ground whichever side he goes to?
  14. Non-soccer fan question coming so pardon the ignorance. Why don’t they ever shoot high on PK’s? Even if the goalie guesses the same direction you kick they’re not going to stop a high shot as they always dive parallel.
  15. Now they have hats with upsidedown logos. They’ve officially run out of ideas.
  16. Not sure if this was directed at me but I tend to believe the person making racism claims. But when guys like Shaq, Robert Horry, Barkley, and so on claim that Scottie is being ridiculous with a comment like the one in question it makes me think Pip is off base, especially when he's out doing product promotion. Not directed at you at all. More so to the people writing articles to go out the way to discredit Scottie (granted, none on here, but I've seen them on Twitter). Pippen is definitely full of horsefeathers, but the response shouldn't be to point out all the times Phil has NOT been racist. The burden should be on Phil Jackson to defend himself (if he even cares to) or on Scottie to backup his claims. Not for a 3rd party, who either doesn't or barely knows either of them, to decide if the claims are legit or not. Got it and I agree.

But when guys like Shaq, Robert Horry, Barkley, and so on claim that Scottie is being ridiculous with a comment like the one in question it makes me think Pip is off base, especially when he's out doing product promotion. It's also possible that younger Phil was racist (as seen in the '75 book) and then grew as a person by the time he was out in LA. Which I fully acknowledged in a previous post once I saw those old, racists book quotes.

  19. It’s gonna change things quite a bit but it’s the right thing I'm all for the athletes getting what they can but $2MM for Hercy Miller? If his dad wasn't Master P he wouldn't be getting anywhere close to that.
  20. Huh. Well damn. Had no idea Phil said that dumb ass racist horsefeathers.
  21. Master P's kid, a 3* that hasn't played any college ball yet, gets a $2MM endorsement deal. Good for him but that seems crazy to me.
  22. Pip has lost his damn mind. Phil ain’t the one.
  23. Yeah, the Suns are missing CP but don't forget that the Clippers are without Kawhi.
